Fujiyoshida 3 Stars Hotels

"Breakfast was excellent. 2 locations for breakfast. One area had Japanese food. The other western food. Lots of seating space and attentive staff. Rooms are clean. Hotel has great amenities. Free shuttle to/from Kawaguchiko Sta. Lockers to store luggage. Free cold/hot water, ice, coffee/tea available in dining areas. 4 laundry/dryers. Vending machines. Microwave in dining area. 5-min walk to views of Mt. Fuji. 10-min walk to grocery stores. "

"Good enough stay; overall could improve. Budget option with a nice onsen. People without a rental car, consider there is no shuttle and the bus service to amenities is extremely limited. This area or hotel could benefit from some type of shuttle service, as many of these hotels are located close by to each other and their occupants could benefit from better options to access the nearby tourist attractions and communities. We were checking out during heavy rain and we nor the staff could get us a taxi or uber after trying for an hour. We ended up bussing to a terminal and waiting for 30 minutes to bus to another terminal to eventually get out of the area. Our Hakone Pass did not work on the bus from the hotel, either. You will only be able to get 50 minutes in the onsen per day, per stay, as it only is open in evening. There were heavy winds that kept us up most of the night because the glass doors to the balcony were so drafty. We arrived to the hotel and ordered our breakfast to be delivered to the room the next morning at 8 — at 8:15 we were told it is waiting for us in the restaurant because staff can’t carry up the 2 servings (set on the menu). It must have been there for the 15 minutes because it was soggy and freezing cold. "

"The pictures made the accommodation look a lot better than it was. There is absolutely nothing around, you're in the middle of nowhere. We had to make our own beds upon arrival which isn't what you'd expect for the price. Disappointing in general, onsen was nice but far too hot. "

"Stunning property. You get the whole building to yourself. It’s like a townhome with 3 floors. You have a roof top. I selected to have a view of Mt. Fuji. Thankfully the weather was clear and we could see it all day even at night. The place was near the Fuji HighQ amusement park. You should definitely check it out if you can. The place was clean and had great features. The shades went up automatically when you put the card on the wall for the lights to turn on etc. 2 restrooms with shower (upstairs and downstairs). I loved everything and wish I stayed in the area longer. The staff were helpful and kind. They even held our bags because we got there before check-in time. The staff is only there till 8 or 9pm I believe. So you need to check in before they leave. They send you a message about the process and if you check-in late. We used their e-bikes to explore the area and that was fun. You had to return it by 6pm and it was doable for us. Definitely book here if you can! I will when I visit again with more time. "
