"As always, the Inn at Virginia Tech did not disappoint. Their cleaning crew is top notch and had my room looking sparkling while I was out going for a walk. The room was nice and cool and comfortable. For me, it's absolutely the best place to stay in Blacksburg, not just because it's on campus but also because it's so comfortable. "

"Everything about this hotel was good. Breakfast is always good when they offer between bacon and sausage and not just sausage. I have solely booked hotels on the breakfast menu alone and Holiday Inn has the best breakfast."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Rockwood Manor. When traveling, we look for out of the ordinary places to stay, places with character, history, beauty... This wonderful place has it all. Our room was spacious, clean, charming, and had a beautiful view. Our bathroom was just around the corner in the hall, but was just ours so it really wasn't a problem. "Our 4 night stay was wonderful, the inside has been recently renovated albeit it looks like some work is still being done in certain areas. It certainly did not deter from the overall experience and the owners have done a great job with the improvements thus far. The kitchen is amazing for cooking and entertaining. The house has an in-line water heater which was nice! The location is 45 minutes from Winterplace ski resort and about a 15 min car ride to most retail restaurant establishments. ...
