"Excellent rooms and helpful staff"

"Checking in was a nightmare, as the staff could not find me on their records. They even asked for my wife's proof of ID to check if the booking was in her name (which it wasn't). This caused a lot of confusion. The room was basic, even though it was booked as a double deluxe room, and there was very little room between the end of the bed, and the TV mounted on the wall. The room was also in a poor state of repair with damage to the windowsill and a threadbare carpet. The bathroom was tiny with very little room for manoeuvre. On departure the member of staff on duty was very dismissive of us, as if she couldn't care less about us. The only good things about the hotel were it's location, and the breakfast which was good quality food, served by helpful friendly staff. When we enquired about the bar, we were told it was closed, but it was only 9pm."

"The property is so convenient, just steps from Paddington. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Room was clean and exactly as it looks online and described. The little kitchen was well stocked. We didn’t use the laundry or gym and we didn’t opt for eating breakfast there but it always looked great!"
