we only stayed at your hotel 1 night of our 4 night stay. I hope that our unfortunate stay will be fully refunded as we had into multiple issues at your hotel as noted with the front office manager. from leaking roofs and no hot water. plus everything was closed including the kids pool and kid area due to leaking. I was advised to make a full report with the hotel reservation manager about our unpleasant stay.

The staff overall was what made the stay very enjoyable. Always willing to help. One server stood out, Tello, super helpful and charismatic. Also, a chef, Xavi, was so sweet and replaced a lost straw with a cute cup and note. Facilities are what need updating.

This is the 4th time staying at this hotel and their food definitely changed.-4 out of 6 of us got sick after the 1st day and another one on the 2nd day 😞.

Really 3 Star Hotel This is a budget hotel like La Quinta status. Food is under seasoned. All restaurants expect buffet requires reservations via download their app. One waitress for the pool and none for beach area. Drinks watered down. Staff very friendly. Not a lot of activities for the kids just pool. Room was spacious and cleaned everyday. Recommend if your family is on a budget not great for couples. 15min from airport, use uber, it’s cheaper than taxi.

When we arrived the lobby and property looked beautiful but upon entering our room and the outside pool area we found it to be wore down, old, dirty and not as advertised in pictures and reviews we found online. Half the resort was shut down for construction which we were not informed about and upon looking at their website was not noted on their as well. It was the middle of day and only dining available was pool side where food was cold and old tasting. The pigeons were pooping all over tables we ate at, around the one pool open u could see cracks and wear and tear, and upon walking around the open facilities it was very dirty. We checked out 30 mins after arrival and went and stayed at a nearby resort.

Our room was clean, and housekeeping was great. But our air conditioner leaked on our floor, we had to use a towel to keep from falling, there was a huge condensation puddle on the tile floor. Also, our tv speaker was blown. You could not turn the tv up above 10 without hearing this loud buzz. And it was loud. Also, i was glad we could go next door to the GR and eat. Very little variety of food. And no meat. Seriously, just ham if you get an omelet. No, the GR had sausage, or you can ask for bacon, no guacamole at all, and very little fruit if at all. And where did the Cabana's go? There is NO shade except pool side. I can go to a pool in the US. I went for the ocean. And we have stayed here 7 times. They used to have Cabannas.....IF we choose to go back i will book at the GR....Very disappointed...

Royal Solaris is a great option for the value. While it won't be the top luxury experience you would expect for the hotel, ambiance, dining, and pool area as the Marriot or Riu, it is a solid 4 star hotel that makes up for it with the 5 star service. The food is more catered to local dishes and lacks alot of western options outside of lunch. The dessert is 5/5 and excellent. The restaurants are okay and have a fine dining experience but the quality of food is okay. The hotel is still dated in some parts but they are constantly renovating and improving these areas. For 2 days of our stay you could hear them jackhammering and doing construction for 24 hours. In 2 years time I can see the aesthetics of the hotel improving quite substantially. The rooms themselves are modern and nice. Now my only con about the Royal Solaris is they want you to invest in their membership, time share. They will invite you to members breakfast, offer free excursions, massage and discounts on your stay to entice you to join. You are given the option to refuse after partaking in the free offers. Room was clean just outdated. They were renovating a pool on our side of building and unclear how we should get to the main pool or accessing kids club. But we figured it out. First experience of being charged seaweed cleaning of the beach but definitely understand the need. Overall, it was a good property!
