"We had an absolutely magical stay for a quiet weekend getaway. The house is remote, the views are breathtaking, the saltwater hottub is hot, and we decided to give cooking a break and the owner, Joyce, made delicious meals for us (Greek lunch - best chicken soup ever; pot roast for dinner; and the absolute best coffee cake we have EVER tasted). "The Motel 6 in Cañon City is a great Motel. They greeted me politely and professionally when I checked in. They gave me clear instructions on everything I needed to know. My room was very clean and well maintained. The a/c and heat worked quietly. The bed was comfortable. They were not trying to be a big, fancy Hotel by offering services that I didn’t need or want.
