Eveything was wrong. From the hallway ceiling the laundry equipment was dirty here is a leak innthe ceiling, no wifi, no tv was connected to cable no pool, they did not serve breakfast. And the room smell was terrible. I am not going back inbthat hotel. The only good was the staff.

A Great Stay at the End of a Long Day!

It was a great place after a long day at the end of a long day on the bike! Theresa at the front desk was especially kind and helpful, getting me the best room available on a preferred floor... If you need a solid place to stay in Canon City, consider the Hampton Inn!

parking lot was safe. No hot breakfast, only 3 towels in the room no hand towels, washcloth, bath mat or floor mat. The floor hadn't been vacuumed. There fire system was down, I will never stay at that hotel again

The room was over 80 degrees and ac did not work. The main areas were dirty. Then new room with no fridge or microwave. However, the staff was very nice and helped as much as they could.

First 2 rooms had broken AC. Laundry facilities out of order. No hot breakfast due to convection oven out or service. Holes in towels and linen. Fire alarm system for building out of order. Staff was pleasant and room appeared clean. Worst Hampton property I have ever stayed at overall.

The staff were doing their best to make our stay a good experience/ short-staffed going the extra mile. 2nd room reservation wasn't booked. Fire alarm broken. No hot food/broken convention oven. Towels & bathmats weren't in room. No Kleenex available in the hotel; used TP instead. Minimal soap/shampoo. Friends got some from what looked like a lost & found box.

The hotel is in bad condition everything needs to be clean. The swim pool was very dirty. Missing basic hotel essentials like shampoo and towels. The breakfast area also was dirty and needs more attention. Also most of the equipment was out of order like the washer and the elevator.

Horrible, disgusting hotel. BEWARE

Bed was comfortable, room was quiet. Air conditioning was not working properly, elevator was broken, so had to take stairs to 3rd floor with luggage.. no soup or shampoo available ( I had some of my own, thankfully). Totally horrible breakfast, sour oj, no coffee, blocks of cream cheese and butter sitting out with no cover or ice. Yogurt in small containers but not refrigerated. This hotel needs to be shut down by health department. I would not feed my dog anything off the breakfast. Front desk just shrugged their shoulders when told there was no soup. Cleaning bucket blocking hall by the stairs and ice machine with no one around. Did not use gym or pool. Ample parking..

Do not stay here!!

I have never stayed in such a dirty Hampton! The bathroom mirror and shower stall was dirty, toilet paper holder was broken and laying on floor. Ceiling vents had dirt hanging out. Carpet and stairwells had dog hair everywhere. If there was anything else available in Cañon City we would have left. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also not good. I would never recommend this place.

Hampton Inn Canon City needs staff overhaul

This hotel has very little staff. HVAC, indoor hot tub, ice machine, elevator needed to access upper floors were all broken and outside temperature was 96 degrees. Pool deck needed cleaned inside, worst breakfast selections of any hotel offering breakfast, carpets in halls needed vacuumed, no housekeeping help was available, and rooms were being cleaned as people arrived needing them. Worst hotel experience of any hotel we have stayed at ever.

The property is very dated. The pool was dirty and disgusting not available to guest, the hot tub did not work at all. The elevator was broken. They placed me in the very back of the hotel, when I pulled around to park there were some shady characters in the parking lot. Scary for a single senior traveling alone. If you want your room cleaned you have to request it. The only thing I would rate above average was some of the housekeeping staff. They were very accommodating.

Great experience with friendly employees

We came to the hotel after experiencing a gas leak at home. We were greeting by a helpful young lady that unfortunately I didn't get her name. Room was pleasant for our family as we had our 3 grandkids spending the night. We were checked in quickly and we were able to get a good sleep with the few hours left of the early morning arrival. Breakfast offered a variety of cold and hot food. Food was tasty and proper temperatures. Tara checked us out of our room prompt, efficient and with a smile!

Could be much better.

Hotel is extremely understaffed and under maintained. The guest washing machine caught on fire, which set off the smoke alarms. Resulting in sitting outside for a considerable amount of time. The hot tub is being “repaired”. The front desk lady was very kind and was very apologetic for being short staffed. I could hear her frustration in her voice. I felt bad for her because I am sure she has been the receiver of other peoples complaints. She handled the smoke alarm situation very well.

Room was hot and we could never get the temperature to go down. It made it hard to sleep. The shower head wouldnt move. Our leys wouldnt work at all the day we left. Breakfast was slim pickins. The staff was super nice.

We tried to check in at 7:00PM. We were told by the person at the front desk that the room wasn’t ready yet because all the employees didn’t show up that day. Because we booked a non refundable room, we waited for 45 minutes while another front desk employee cleaned a room for us. Once in our room at 8:00PM, we had only a couple of towels and no soap. The shower was filthy and moldy looking. We asked for hand soap and was told they would bring it if they could find some. They never came back with any soap or towels. The carpet in the room was also dirty and not vacuumed. I do want to say that the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I’m very sorry to say that we will be very reluctant to book again with Hampton Inn in the future. We couldn’t leave fast enough in the morning. Also no coffee was available in the 3 large coffee dispensers at 6:15 AM.
