"This is a different type of hotel. The setting is like an apartment courtyard. Not too many extras. It is very nice with plenty of parking. The office is only manned during daytime hours so if you are a late arrival you need to make arraignments. The room itself is excellent. Has a living area, kitchen area microwave, toaster, stove, fridge, dishes ect. Has a spacious bathroom and a nice bedroom. Note that housekeeping is weekly vice daily and that includes fresh towels. We only had a 2 night...

"Location was perfect for my friends and I for our quick day trip to Virginia. It was close enough to popular mountain trails so we were able to get a hike in. Very spacious for about 4 people to sleep comfortably, just keep in mind there is a spiral staircase to the downstairs area that is a little tight for big bags but it’s no deal breaker as there is another entrance. All in all it was perfect my friends and I!"

"Very clean and updated house in a very convenient location. Nice neighborhood but close to highways and conveniences. Would be nice to have dressers or luggage stands in bedrooms. Beds seem to be listed in “European sizing”, meaning their “King” bed was what is called a Queen in US and their Queens are really full or doubles. But, beds were comfortable and area is quiet. Downstairs “suite” with bedrooms, bath and living room was great for our daughter, son-in-law and their 2 year old. Nice...

"Lovely neighbourhood. Close to great historic sites, antique stores, bars and fantastic restaurants. Beautiful inn and the staff were very accommodating. The only set back is the lack of security - the front door is 'locked' with a chain lock - no dead bolt."
