“We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride……

“From the moment we booked to the time we checked out, the Mamma Loo staff was in constant communication with us. They let me know about prices outside the stay rates beforehand, they helped me arrange a welcome bouquet for my girlfriend, arranged for us to have a grill dinner and took breakfast all the way to our kuchil ( that’s how you say space/home in mayan). Bathroom was clean, dinning area was tidy and the room was nice and comfortable. My girlfriend loved this, she said “ we should do this……

“We stay for three days they never cleaned the room or change the bed. The pool was dirty green and the access to property is so far from everything else. We were not able to get an Uber to take us out of the property. I will not recommend it for a tourist location. The Jacuzzi was so full of chemicals that we have to get out immediately because the skin was burning. The apartment was in front of the pool that have no many blinds and two of the sliding doors so it’s like being in a store where……

“Tivemos algumas intercorrências ao longo de nossa hospedagem, como falta de luz no primeiro dia por quase duas horas, sem nenhuma assistência da equipe do hotel durante o episódio. Não havia luz de emergencia, lanterna, o telefone do quarto não funciona, chuveiro tmb não. Ficamos no completo escuro usando lanternas dos nossos celulares. Eles nos deram uma sessão de sauna como compensação, mas a experiência em geral foi bem insatisfatória. Em uma noite, uma barata nos aguardava na porta do nosso……

“Traveler beware (which I was not), there is NO beach to walk on in front of or near this hotel and some the rooms titled “oceanfront” are not on the front of the hotel adjacent to the beach. The ocean in front of this hotel is mostly a brownish color due to the high levels of seaweed and it is smelly (often like a sewer). Most concerning, I booked an “oceanfront” room and was given a room at the back end of the hotel which had a view of a roof and the adjacent patio balconies (and the ocean……

“Room ac didn’t work well also the room had so much moisture in it they had to bring in a dehumidifier and the room stunk the mildew. The pool side service was ok but not great. Would be nice if all restaurants were open every night and you can wear nice khaki shorts and collar shirts instead of pants everywhere”
