"This was a good place for us. we needed a sleep and shower here place. It like a mother in law sweet. Cute neighborhood. We were there for a weekend fishing trip so it was just that. They are still working on this place as a newer Vrbo I think they are on the right track. It was clean. It’s not flawless, but that’s the working on thing. "The Riverwalk was beautiful. We saw a couple of dolphins! Downtown was no within walking distance so that was the only setback."

"The Holiday Inn Express Jacksonville SE-Med Center is close to the huge Mayo Clinic property, so the staff knows about that medical center. The hotel operates a free hourly shuttle to/from Mayo, and one of the drivers is a regular patient there. He was very helpful about the particular building I was to go to; and he knew about the various restaurants on the complex, as well. I was new to Mayo and a little anxious and he helped me feel more relaxed about the clinic. When I get my surgery done at Mayo, I will use this Holiday Inn Express because I like the staff and I can get a patient discount on my room. My room had a quiet view of an adjacent golf course, so my two night stay was most pleasant."

"Staff was great, room was comfortable & reasonably priced for a quick overnight stay on the way down to southern FL with kids (12, 15,17) My daughter left her wallet in the room & they called us in time to turn around & get it before we lost too much time. It’s an older hotel they’ve done a nice job with upkeep & making it cute. Enjoyed the complementary continental breakfast before heading out."

"My staying was horrible, the hotel is in construction and they did not inform us. The room was nasty with the “ new upgrades” damaged. The walls are paper thin so don’t go with minors!. The next door guest hold a party until 3 am and did not consider others. The amount of noise in the hallway was insane. I have to early check out and move to another hotel. Not recommended at all. "
