"We visited Sandusky for the 2024 Solar Eclipse, and even this hotel was desolate considering the buzz surrounding the event. It's definitely an older hotel, and some of the rooms are cut off from the main lobby and are accessible only by going outside to the front of the hotel. It's a dated experience but for the cost, can't complain too much. Just don't expect a super-modern Holiday Inn or anything of the sort. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were recently updated. "At first I was a little a worried about the area when I came in but when we stayed the first night it was so quiet. To see the staff tag team in cleaning the rooms was amazing. I don’t really see that in nice hotels we stayed in. The only thing I wish was the shower to be a little bigger but the location was prefect for Me. 5mins away from cedar point and 3 mins for the soccer tournament."

"If you are looking for a Resort. This isn't it. BUT if you want quiet and inexpensive but clean.. this place is great. Tall people will have to slouch in the shower and its not scalding hot...but water pressure is good. Little bit tight quarters in the cottages but its very clean and comfy. Would stay here again!"

"It was very easy to get to. The owners were very nice and friendly. They answered all my questions about where to get something to eat. They were also nice enough to let us know about the strawberry festival that was going on the same weekend that we were there. They told us about the restaurant that were only about 10 minutes away from the hotel. We had a great time and will probably be back next year. Thank you for having us."

Nice hotel and staff
"We had a great stay in a suite with our kids. We enjoyed the outdoor heated pool which was clean and warm and open until 11 that night. We liked the patio with the fire to enjoy afterwards. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Zack and Katie communicated with me by text to check that we had everything we needed which was a really nice surprise. Breakfast was good and the attendant worked hard to keep things stocked and clean. We will return when going to Cedar Point."
