Be careful renting from vacasa
The property itself was fine, pretty clean, and had good amenities. It's located right by the beach and a bunch of restaurants. What ruined our mich anticipated vacation was the process of staying here. Didn't receive code to enter into premises before arrival. Received it past check-in time after customer kept telling me it was emailed (it was not, I received it via text). On our last day, we go out for breakfast and upon our return, the code doesn't work. Both of us tried the code many times, but the door remained locked and wouldn't let us in. The code worked fine up until then. We contact customer service via text and phone and they said we had to wait. They couldn't give us an eta. I expressed to them we have a flight to catch and we still needed to pack. We also had plans before our flight. But, no eta was given. We ended having to wait for 2hrs (good thing we woke up really early for breakfast) before getting a new code to gain entry to the rental. We didn't receive the code from vacas we received it from vrbo. How is it that we received it from vrbo first and not the actual host?! I asked for a refund but vacasa is saying it was user error. This was not user error. If it was then why did the new code work? Vacasa has a terrible set up.Plus the internet info provided by vacasa was wrong. Need to update your info.Many issues with our stay bc of vacasa. I demand a refund.
