The Dixie Walesbuilt Hotel from 1926 resides today, abandoned but in some state of rehabilitation in downtown Lake Wales, Florida.

The hotel was said to be a favorite of the infamous Al Capone because of its extensive network of underground tunnels that exist to this day.

"We stayed at Spectrum Resorts for Thanksgiving in a spacious 5-bedroom condo that fit our family of 10 perfectly. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed access to the sister property’s amenities. Only downside was parking being a bit far from our unit, but overall it was a pleasant stay."
