"This property worked well with our family group of 10. We had 5 adults; 4 teens and 1 10-year-old. 3 bedrooms for the adults; the media room with flexible futons for the teen girls; and another room with futons for the 2 guys (1 teen and 1 10-yr-old). We set up a folding table in the open kitchen for more dining space. The 3 bathrooms were great with plenty of towels for daily showers and plenty of hot water! Outdoor space was great with 2 docks, boat ramp, fire pit and much more. My husband's grandparents had a cottage on Lake Shafer when he was growing up and this place helped us create the same kind of memory-making opportunity in 2024 that my hubby had when he was a kid. We spent 1 day at Indiana Beach Amusement Park and would highly recommend! The host was very attentive and was quick to respond to questions. It was a great stay... and we would seriously consider a return visit!"

"Came to the area to visit family and decided to try this cabin in lieu of a hotel room. Best choice ever! This cabin far exceeds any hotel in the Monticello area. It was just as described. Clean, well furnished and perfectly comfortable. Location was great; 10 minutes from the Kroger and Walmart. Lake view was nice and the deck was perfect for early mornings and evening for relaxing. Very quiet area of the lake. The sunroom was also perfect for when the weather was not suited for being outside. Overall… it was perfect for us and we will be back when we are in the area again."
