The building of the hotel is very classic. The room is beautiful and spacious with a very big balcony. The staff at the Concierge is very helpful and offered me the assistance I required to their best.

I was glad that I've booked into Regent's Taipan club king room with club facilities over CNY because many eateries and shops were closed. We were happy to eat and drink at the Taipan lounge on the 19/f from 7am to 10pm on CNY eve and CNY 1st day. They offered free flow of wine and spirits in the evening so it was great value. Staff were attentive and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in Taipei.

The room was clean. Staffers were very helpful. The restaurant is not huge but the food was delicious. Buffet breakfast was not as extensive as some other hotels but food choices were carefully designed and more than sufficient. On some days in a week, they even offered tasty beef noodles for breakfast, a pleasant surprise.
