「We booked a hotel rather than a just an apartment or room as we were expecting a serviced hotel as a treat and paid accordingly. There is no reception, no bar and no catering other than at the neighbouring property, just a 4 digit number supposedly to open the front door and room, it didn’t allow access to the room, which caused some anxiety. Fortunately someone answered the out of hours emergency number and was able to give us another pass code. The room was not serviced, nor were the tea/...

「the room is clean and comfortable, but the bed sheet and quilt are a bit torn out. Time to replace with new ones.」

「An enjoyable 1 night stay in busy pub/hotel. Excellent position close to beach and a very reasonably priced bar. Small car park full mostly by beach walkers rather than guests, however street parking close by. We had a wonderful sea-view room. A few cons: building and rooms looking dated and tired, in need of a refresh. Would have made use of a fan as windows can only be opened slightly. A small fridge also to keep drinks cool would have been welcomed. Would stay again for certain.」

「Room was clean, however no cleaner on the second day. Came while we were in the room and said she'll be back later, so we left to give space but came back to find no one ever came back... staff was friendly enough, maybe more communication would be nicer. Breakfast-very poor, not even 1 vegetable on offer, better eat out.」

「Serious group system issue meant my confirmed booking was not received at the hotel and I had to find somewhere else. Arrived at 6pm. Several people waiting to check in. One person on reception. No booking for me, despite messages from the hotel. Over an hour and a half later confirmed there would be no room for me. I asked to pay for a room. Offered a room in the sister East Cliff hotel which was hot and grotty. Will avoid the OYO name in future.」
