「Nice clean warm room, was a little bit of noise which was to be expected in the centre , it didn’t disturb us. Breakfast was nice and served tea/coffee at the table which was nice」

「I did mention that the fridge in my room must be faulty as it froze my bottle of water. I was concerned that a guest may put medications in it and this would cause a problem. Although the receptionist said someone would look at it, it was still the same the next day. Also the fridge was quite noisy. Other than that the staff were very friendly and obliging.」

「The hotel is quite dated which adds a lot of character to the property. The general areas are relatively clean but the room we were booked in has seen better days. There were some cobwebs near the windows and the floor was a bit dusty. We arrived almost midnight and quite tired so didn’t really do a complete check of the room. 「Pros: close to train station and restaurants, great breakfast (semi-buffet), value for money Cons: room is a but dusty, and some rooms are located in between 2 floors so you need to climb a few steps with your luggage, rmb to send a note to the hotel if you carry heavy luggage to avoid such rooms.」

「We were very positively surprised by this hotel. Didn´t expect much, but the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was super. The rooms were clean and checkin and checkout was easy. We will definately come back if we ever come back to Middlesbrough.」
