「Very nice 1BR apt perfect for a couple. The only thing that didn’t seem completely on target was the ‘steps to the beach’ detail. I was expecting something VERY close to the beach. Beach access was limited & it took a bit of a walk to get to the beach. Everything else was accurate & as I expected. 」

「It was a perfect location for us, walkable to more than I expected. Amazing little balcony w terrific view of the estuary. A couple of light bulbs were out (shower, by main door) - I didn’t have time to call and request a replacement so can’t speak to property support. It is on the Hilton Caribe property so if you are attending a conference there it’s perfect」

「Great location and setup is ready made as other reviews state with food and all beach amenities you could need there for use. AC’s are updated and worked great. The location is perfect for beach days and multiple groceries stores/pharmacies within a mile. Old San Juan is only a 15 min ride and a gated parking space is given for your car all week. Again, smart touches by the property owner around food, coffee, beach items, etc. that make you want to come back.」

「We arrived at one AM, directions to enter and get keys and park were clear and easy. Parking was only $5 a day. We had a one bedroom, living room area, kitchen area with cups, utensils. Had a little back are to sit if you wanted! When you come out walk two short blocks to a public beach, you can rent chairs and buy cheap delicious drinks from Ramon! Walkable to many local, reasonable places to eat. Had everything we needed! Definitely would stay again!」

「This stay is an amazing experience. We would definitely book again. Super accommodating and responsive host. Rosa is very friendly! Only steps away from the beach and restaurants/bars. There’s a supermarket on the corner to get groceries from as well. There’s a café in the lower level of the hotel that we got to enjoy, as well as super friendly and attentive staff in the building. Ubers were extremely affordable but cars are definitely not required for this stay. We had a wonderful time staying...

「The room was clean, spartan and quiet. The only downside was that I had to run the shower water for some time before I got hot water. Otherwise, everything was first class. 」

「We enjoyed our time at Mare and had a very good experience. The one issue is that what you see in the pictures is not necessarily what you will get and the rooms vary greatly. Some had a refrigerator, others didn't; some had shelves and spacious bathrooms; our room had only a clothes rack with 5 hangers and you could only fit one person in the bathroom at a time. Only one room had a luggage rack so most of us lived out of our suitcase on the floor. The pool picture is not of the pool at Mare,...

「We didn't spend too much time in the room. Proximity to the beach was great. Bathroom, kinda rough. Very low water pressure and no hot water in the shower. The host came over to try and fix it but couldn't. A known faulty breaker hadn't been fixed so no hot water to the shower. I washed my hair in the kitchen sink.」
