「Nice room」

「Clean room and good parking」

「My bathroom had not been properly clean when I checked in. Dirty shower, poop on the back of the toilet, dried coffee in the sink. My room did have a fan but others in my party did not so the rooms were warm with no A/C. The hotel does not have enough fans to accommodate all rooms so if there is someone elderly in your party and no fans, I’m not sure what you’re supposed to do. The main areas were nice and clean and air conditioned. The wedding hides there was arranged beautifully.」

「We only stayed for one night however were amazed at how low the price of £131.41 was for the service and facilities. Good size room, nice shower, complimentary drinks in fridge, complimentary packed lunch for the following day and a good breakfast choice. When you consider that this is also peak holiday season it is exceptional value for money for the room we stayed in.」

「A little gem that we will definitely return to. Rooms were finished to a high quality - not just style over substance. Beds comfy, shower amazing, hot tub fab and one of the best nights sleep for a while. Paired with excellent food and service at Bowling Green Inn, would highly recommend 👍」

「No staff there to check us in - had to go find someone but to be fair they were doing double duty in bar and hotel. Room itself was clean and tidy but hallway carpets weren’t great. Breakfast was delicious. Could use a mini fridge in the room. Parking was ample.」

「Location is great for us. We stayed in Room 3 in the courtyard as we had a small dog with us and they are not allowed in the Main Hotel rooms. We have stayed in this room before - its an excellent size but on the first floor. It seems to have been modernised from when we were last there which was nice. We didn't have breakfast or evening meal there as it is "hotel prices". Within walking distance of the hotel is one of the best pubs in Derbyshire - The Hollybush Inn - great beer and grub.」
