"It was such a treat for our family of four to stay at this home. The house is absolutely lovely! Plenty of space for all of us, so many wonderful outdoor spaces to use. The view is stunning! We never got tired of it. Easy walk to a beach nearby, and the perfect hub for several day and half day trips. The owner is wonderful! So friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. We hope to be back soon!"

"We decided to rent a beach house to house a few family members who flew over from Catalina Island to come to my Dad's Celebration of Life! Both my Aunt and Uncle from Catalina Island are 87 and 90 Years old. The house was very comfortable and easily accessible with a cane. Although we did experience some rainfall having the rocks embedded in the entrance floor and stairs made it easy for them to go up and down the stairs. "The location was convenient. The view was amazing. Had a little trouble sleeping due to the noise of the frogs and a rooster that woke us up every morning at 524am. The condo was amazing other than that. We felt very safe and loved that we were only 50ft from the water...aaaannndddd we got to swim with the sea turtles. Amazing."

"Unbelievable access to the wonderful Hilo beach parks all within a mile or 2. We were up and across the street to Richardson Beach Park everyday to see the turtles and the black sand beach in the afternoon. Richard’s house was so comfortable and had everything we needed for the beach and in the house. Loved the tropical views from all the windows and it was so quiet at night (except for the birds and the rain, which were wonderful to hear). Definitely coming back if I am lucky enough to ever...

"A deep clean of the full place should be done. The inside of the kitchen cupboards were not clean. The screen door to the deck should be replaced as you had to fight to open & close it. Needs some TLC."

"Excellent front desk, service, nice, clean and well appointed room, lovely grounds with huge Koi, pond and garden, and a very nice pool courtyard. There is a park along the water just across the street where it is nice to take a walk and families have picnics in the evening. The restaurant on the property has decent food and nice service. The motel offers many free extras and has a focus on kindness towards people and the environment."
