「I wasn't sure what to expect before I arrived at the Derby Arms but the initial greeting was warm and sincere. My room was delightful, clean and well appointed with a good sized bathroom with both a bath and a choice of shower heads. For both nights I ate in the restaurant and was served by a charming and efficient waitress. 「From easy parking, ease of checkin, spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed. Hot drink making facilities and a nice addition of water in the mini fridge, access to a dining area downstairs with microwave, hot drink facilities and a toaster was all you needed. The price reflects the absence of breakfast supplied and to be honest, we preferred this option. Great value for money. We will be back! 」

We had an issue on our first night but the staff did their best to deal with it. Fortunately this was resolved. Breakfast was great, excellent quality and a good selection.
