「We had 2 rooms- the one-bed room was great. The 3 room suite smelled musty. They ended up moving us to a different room and it was much better. The service was great- they try their best to make your stay good. Food and bars were good. The beach does not have a great swimming area but the beach itself is nice. We did not leave the resort or buy any trips although there are plenty of people that want to sell you trips.」

「The Barcelo is amazing & beautiful, well manicured on picturesque Bavaro beach! All the amenities you want. The staff are all very friendly; but I suggest you brush up on your Spanish, as most don’t speak english fluently. All the food we had in the multiple restaurants and buffets was very good.
