“Air conditioning was extremely loud and every time it would shut off and turn on it to wake you up from your sleep was not restful. I don’t think the place has been renovated since the 80s at least that’s what it look like. It’s kind of rundown in the rooms, the main lobby looks super nice and inviting, but as soon as you get into the bedrooms, it’s pretty rundown and especially for $300 a night. It wasn’t worth it.”

“Decent hotel, but check-in was very slow. The paper breakfast vouchers feel outdated. It was difficult to find and get to my room because the layout and wayfinding are confusing. The hotel could use some updates, and there was an unpleasant smell in some areas.”

“Every receptionist was very helpful. The hot tub is very clean. Pool is clean. Breakfast was simple and OK. Nothing wrong with it. Just nothing great what was exceptional? Was the antiques throughout the property inside and out there was a cowhide chair. My wife wanted me to try to buy an antique switchboard which my 15-year-old son got a quick course on how calls worked in small towns and how the operator would listen to everyone’s conversation, the room was simple but clean and comfortable……

“The gal at the front desk in the afternoons/evenings we were there was top notch. Very authentic while being very helpful and welcoming. Really loved the atmosphere. Breakfast was good. The staff was doing their best to keep up with the guests despite a few challenges.”
