"Great location"

"The room was good and clean however I was given a room with view to court yard and had to close the blinds as other rooms could see my room. I was very disappointed as I paid a hefty fee for my stay and was given a substandard room and the shower was terrible "

"Hotel is centrally located and close to shops and restaurants. Within walking distance to Temple Street Night Market. Room is clean and comfortable. There is a food hall within the building with plenty of good options as well as full-sized restaurant which serves excellent breakfast and dinner. Would recommend staying here. "

"The team at reception are helpful. However, I would not recommend this for a business stay. If you are in a connecting room, you can hear the guests next door speaking and using the bathroom. You can also hear traffic through the thin windows. Fine for a short 1-2 day stay. However, this is not a 4 star accomodation. Daily room service is just changing your bathroom bin."

"What we loved most about this hotel was the location. It’s just steps away from the ferry terminal, within walking distance, perfect since we were sailing to Macau. We chose an oceanfront room, and the view was amazing. The room was spacious, the shower was nice, and the breakfast was decent."

"It smells like rotten fish walk into the hotel. The front door is in the alley . No hot water . It’s really a terrible experience I ever had . "

"The location of the hotel is central with lots of eateries/cafes/coffee shops etc. 2 blocks away from the Sheung Wan mtr makes it extremely convenient. Busy during the day but nights are relatively quiet compared to certain areas that are more vibrant such as Mong Kok or Causeway Bay. It's our first time staying at the Mercer. We would stay here again. The room was clean and fair size with lots of drawers and storage space which we liked. The staff were helpful and polite. They even helped us call for a taxi after we checked out. Overall a good experience."
