“The rooms are older and starting to show their age. Discolouration on mirrors, toilet flush mechanism missing decorative part. Everything still works fine though. Their idea of a Garden View and not the best either (dilapidated old buildings in the forested area) but I didn’t go there to stay in my room so not a huge deal either. The food was good. Love the spa. The employees were all friendly. So overall a 3.5-4 star review overall. ”

“We loved our stay at Serenity Glamping. Our accommodation was the "Lodge" which has a kitchenette and 3 bedrooms. I recommend the Lodge because the restaurant on site is VERY expensive so it is nice to be able to have your own food/drinks at your site. The Lodge was very private and wonderful! Only steps away from the beautiful XpuHa beach. :) ”

“I am really not sure why/how this hotel is rated exceptional, but it is far from it! It is totally outdated and bathroom is terrible. The hotel was deserted (not sure why), the beach was small and rocky; TV didn’t work and is a super small; AC either blasted high or low and the controls didn’t work. Even despite being given the best room in hotel, these were issues. Saving grace was view of ocean from room, but low value for the high price! Disappointed!!”

All of this is wonderful and can be replicated in other resorts. But the thing that sets this resort apart is the staff! They are amazing and they care so much! Karen and Natali as concierges, Erik and Roberto assisting at the pool side and at the beach, the entertainment staff of Abigail, Perla, and Edwin were just wonderful. The……

“This place was sublime - beautiful garden and natural pool, roomy huts with screened porches, lovely helpful owner, just a few kilometers from Akumel beach and 30 km from Tulum ruins in a quiet, out of the way location. I’m sorry I was only staying one night. ”
