「This was our first experience not only in Mexico, but at an all inclusive resort. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The property was exceptionally clean, even as there were some repairs being made to drywall areas in the hallway. You could tell the employees took great pride in their jobs. The pools were clean and the staff around them were very professional. We truly had an exciting and very relaxing time at the resort, and do look forward to returning.」

「Most restaurants closed at 3pm. The staff sends you away. Not inclusive as some liquors and wines only available for purchase. Buyer beware from Expedia. Resort credits of $400 is only if you spend $100 then off $25 so you’ll need to spend thousands to get the full $400 credit. I was supposed to get a wine bottle each day and that was not done either. And many of the restaurant s did not have the wine available from the limited selection. Mediocre food - do your research!」

「The reception desk was chronically unfriendly and difficult to work with. Language limitations made it taxing to resolve billing issues and communicate problems. It was also very difficult to book reservations for parties over 4 people, so if you are traveling with a group that wants to eat dinner together, this might be an issue. ALL other employees were friendly, helpful, courteous, prompt, and accommodating.」

「Beautifully laid out property with natural landscaping, an interesting howler monkey rehabilitation program onsite, and meandering footpaths and foot bridges connecting you to the resort areas. Food was very good and the beach was beautiful. One of the best and most pleasant resorts in Playacar. Good tip: When shopping in town, insist on using your credit card and pay in U.S. dollars. Let your bank card do the currency exchange for you. Don't fall victim to sneaky math or offerings of 'free'...
