What an amazing resort! It's was bigger than I expected with lots of pools than other resorts I've been on. So there's definitely space anywhere to lounge in the pool . The food was good-solid 8/10, with lots of variety to eat at the buffet. They had a small ice cream van and a burger stand by the pool. Which were great to take a break from swimming and enjoying by the pool. Please, do make reservations for the Hibachi restaurant, which is one of the only restaurant that you will need reservations for. It was so good, with 4 small size course that was surprisingly filling. Also, the entertainment group were wondering throughout the resort, super helpful in promoting event and sessions they had. We had a painting class recommended to us by a entertainment worker, Jesus, that was super fun to do with my family. The host Alex and Jeff were super nice and fun to have hosting the class with the amazing painters teach us. Jesus was also a champ playing volleyball with my family when it was close to the end of the day and he was definitely tired. Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely come again.

Moon Palace was great! Food was really good and the different restaurants at night gave you a chance to enjoy different types of venues. I would suggest staying at the Grand as it was by far the nicest and best lay out. The nightly entertainment was good too! Gave a great nightcap to each night. Pool bar was a plus and well received. Jorge, the one waiter/server by the pool was genuine and made for great conversation. I wish him well. The only drawback I saw was at check in they were trying to get you to buy some timeshare/rooms for future use right when you checked in and when you are leaving. Neither time did it feel enjoyable to be asked to spend more money as you are there to relax and it was an all inclusive. If that wasn't a hassle, it would be a 10/10. If you have younger kids, the Circus is a must. I would say do it early in your trip too as some of the shows have similar effects.

Just returned from our 5th stay at Moon Palace, and it continues to be one of our favorite family vacation spots. The staff, food, amenities, and overall atmosphere keep us coming back year after year. We always leave with great memories and can’t wait for our next visit.

Moon Palace was great! Food was really good and the different restaurants at night gave you a chance to enjoy different types of venues.
