The cottage was lovely in terms of appearance and space and the walk to the beach didn’t take too long although it’s longer than 650m to get to the beach. The location is very isolated which was lovely to get away from the city and the shops and some lovely places to eat are just a short drive which was convenient!
The house however was freezing (and it’s November) it was actually warmer outside. There is a split system heater in the lounge but it doesn’t extend to the bedrooms and so nights were quite uncomfortably cold. Would also be great to include sugar, tea bags, salt and pepper as basics (we left a salt shaker behind for the next guests) - as these are generally standard with self contained holiday apartments
