Beautiful Cottage -Water Front+dock+Big Bear Bay

Make lasting memories at this unique and family-friendly Lakehouse on the water. Enjoy fishing and boat access on the private dock complemented with string lighting. Relax on the 2nd story deck overlooking Big Bear bay with year round views or down on the large patio area with an integrated fire pit and a bench swing. Stream your favorite show and send that email you forgot using our 300MB fiber-optic WiFi. The new restaurant is located just down the street with all the best fixings. The water at the dock is seasonal - MAY - SEP 1st the water is at summer level. The water level drops during the fall/ winter making boat access not suitable during the fall/ winter.

Perfect getaway!

The property was nestled in a quiet, shaded neighborhood. The house was clean and exactly like described. We really enjoyed the mini ping pong table outside!

Liked the cottage, and the outside lights. Very quiet area. Was very disappointed that we could not fish in area. the space around our dock and several others in the area were completely dry. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful. We would rent again, but maybe a different time of the year.

Perfect lake getaway!!

Everything was exactly as listed. Perfect spot for my boyfriend and I on his birthday weekend. The house was tidy and had all the needed amenities. We were able to dock his bass boat at the dock on the property which was super convenient. Kristin and Chase were also great communicators. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Lake Cabin

This place was great. It had all of the space and amenities my group of 6 needed. The outdoor space was amazing, and it was right on the water. The lake was too low to get my boat to the dock on the canal, but it didn’t end up being an issue. I rented a daily slip from Hester’s Resort and Marina, a short 5 minute drive and only $10/day.

we had 4 adults and there was one full size bed and the other room was bunk beds! all of us 60 and older made that not work and the pull out sofa was broken. but we loved loved the deck upstairs and had a great trip... we would probably still stay here again because we loved the cabin

Cute and clean but water access not so much

House was nice and clean it was inconvenient to have bathroom on main floor and bedroom downstairs. The water access was not as advertised only a few inches deep at dock and logs,brush blocking the canal.

Wonderful short getaway

Wonderful short getaway for the hubby and I. Quiet and serene area! Everything you need is here at this beautiful place! The bed is comfy, the place is spacious, front and back porch are great to read a book on or sip on your favorite drink. Sizzlin sisters up the road is an amazing restaurant! We ate there twice! The owners are such sweet people! We will come again!

Nice little place

The inside is adorable. The living room kitchen combo is so perfect. The outdoor space is very nice, we loved the upper deck. The dock is good for fishing. We did assume from the pictures that we would be able to access the main lake from the property. Only the canal is accessible from the property, no big deal. Still enjoyed our stay. Chase the property owner is awesome with communication and would rent from him again.

Peaceful location

This house was perfect for our group of four. The back yard is set up great for campfires and grilling. The string lights are a nice factor if you plan on spending time out side in the evenings. The house is located in a neighborhood but there is only one neighbor and a large wooded field on the other side. There are two marinas less than five minutes away but the house does have its own dock, in a creek, that feeds into the lake. I would book this property again!
