Puffin cottage was just lovely very clean & cosy lovely views & great facilities highly recommend. The owner was very friendly & the stay was made so easy very professional 😊

The location of this chalet is lovely and the camp is nice and quiet. The view from the balcony is nothing short of stunning. The Chalet is well equipped with pretty much everything you need and a nice starter pack with tea and coffee making supplies - the owner has gone above and beyond to ensure nothing is needed. The decor is a bit of a miss mash of styes - eclectic - but if you're not worried about the style then no problem. Unfortunately the chalet is damp. Very damp. To the point that clothes we didn't wear had to be washed when we got home to get rid of the smell. The water in the shower drain seems to be backed up, which doesn't help, and when you open and close the sliding door, you can actually hear water sloshing about in it. The owner has provided a de-humidifier, but despite running this a couple of times, the water tank doesn't fill up so I'm guessing it doesn't work properly. This is such a shame as the location is so nice. Fortunately, we had great weather while we were there so made sure kept it well aired but I imagine it would be a nightmare during a wet week. We soldiered on and enjoyed our holidays, but potential renters should be made aware of this issue.

This was our second time at Puffin cottage and we had a lovely time again. A neat little property ideally located for the services onsite and also nearby beaches. Clean, with everything provided - towels, toilet roll, cleaning materials, and all with a great view.

Cottage had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The sea view is amazing. Monique the owner was very helpful sent us all the details we needed in plenty of time to be able to access the property and she left chocolate for the children and a bottle fizz for the adults

Lovely accommodation and being greeted with waiting chocs and Prosecco was a lovely touch. Just be aware that there is very little external lighting on the camp and this might cause mobility problems. This has been raised by the owner of chalet.

We had a wonderful stay at puffin cottage. So homely and welcoming. Lovely extra touches like chocolates and prosecco. Candles and pretty lights for are arrival. Spotlessly clean and fresh. Lovely fluffy towels to use. The best equipped holiday let I've ever stayed in. Lots of cleaning products. Area is wonderful, stunning views and peaceful. Excellent communication from Monique. Would highly recommend

View was amazing over Bideford Bay and enjoyed sitting on balcony. Accommodation was really well furnished and equipped and had everything we needed even towels for swimming pool. Comfy beds and really peaceful yet entertainment on doorstep. Lived up to all the reviews we had read in advance. Lovely welcome touches and excellent communication from Monique. Highly recommend Puffin Cottage and would love to stay there again

From start to end we had a fantastic holiday, the accommodation was next to none everything was thought of in comfort ,relaxing views & great places to eat. Everything was on the doorstep re places to visit & to eat out. The view from the accommodation was stunning with lovely walks if u wanted. I can’t wait to return.

Excellent location for local beaches, adventure attractions, shops and places to eat out. Great view from the property and good access to onsite facilities. The property was just right for a week long stay for 2 adults and 2 children and was very well equipped.

Property was ok, some nice touches by the owner. It did smell of damp. We are having to wash everything we took into the chalet to get rid of the smell, including shopping bags. The fridge froze our food, so we had to bin everything and either eat out or by take away. The site bar and toilets were filthy. No social distancing at all. Swimming pools were lovely and well managed.

Stunning view, lovely outside dining space, absolutely made it for us. Home from home had everything you could need, warm welcome with treats from the owner. Great communication. Holiday park not the best but made for a great base to explore.

We really loved our week here as we managed to explore some lesser known places. The chalet is in a quiet location, lovely views, great sunsets, the clarity depending on the weather. It is well equipped , tastefully decorated. We had a bit of a struggle working out the oven and hob as the numbers and markings had been cleaned off, but once we had sussed it , we managed to cook ok. We would definitely like to stay there again!

Lovely, well equipped, spotlessly clean place with everything you could need. Fabulous views from the balcony, perfect for sunny mornings and evening sunsets. Perfect location for walking the coast path, ice cream in Clovelly and splendid food at the Farmer's Arms in Woolsery.
