Nice clean rooms at a good price

Nice clean rooms at a good price for Bristol, communal fridge microwave iron is a nice touch will deffo use again

Nice room and affordable. A bit cold but the heater made it warm. Good internet and signal so all around was a nice stay

Comfortable but noisy

Very nice room for the price . Unfortunately at 5am it for very noisy in the hotel with people banging doors and talking loudly

Just the job

Good place for me as I was working in city centre. Nice little rooms, very clean with great shower and loads of hot water. Car park nxt to hotel free for 4hrs in the day and free all night. Wetherspoons just down the road walking distance and a few shops.

For the price and the lies about parking terrible

Over priced for location, unsafe plug sockets, noisey and the biggest lie is free parking, we had to park on a street 15 minutes walk away, nearest car park is only available for 4 hours, still £20 in a taxi to Bristol city centre, pay the extra and stay there dont book this hotel.

On arrival, room hadn't been cleaned. Previous guest still had their body shape in the pillows and duvet. dirty towels left in bathroom and rotten food left in the bin. Basically the room hadn't been cleaned. As this hostel is unmanned there is no actual human being to contact.

Entry code for doors did not work . Called the helpline that was no help after finally geting through . Parking not as listed as despite speaking about the parking with the kyo employee who helped me access the main door and room i got a parking ticket !

You wont be able to sleep

It was near to impossible to get hold of anyone to answer questions. Check out made no sense there was nowhere to leave our key and no one around We collected our keys from inside the bar which is more like a club, there wasnt any soundproofing and windows didnt close properly ao we were kept up until gone 3am by drunk screaming outside and the loud music etc. The place was clean though.

Just amazing!

when i booked in, i didn't see the check in time. i had finish my night shift. i needed to get my head down for few hours before my next night shift, that night. when the confirmation came through. the check in time was from 1600. i then panicked. i called the hotel manager and she was amazing. she sorted all out for me. sorry i can't remember the managers name. the name keeps popping in my head is "Sasha" i don't if that's right or not. but the manager was amazing. in the evening i got ready to go to work and i checked out. but my work messed me around. i rang the manager again, to ask if i can go back and reclaim my room. the manager was so sympathetic towards my situation. and said off course you have already paid for it. she said go the bar and pick up the key to your room and i hope you have a lovely night and good nights sleep. i thanked her and said she has saved me lots hassle. so thank to all the staff Rooms @501, Especially the manager.Thank you.

Incredibly overpriced and terrible accomodation

Overpriced and terrible condition. Arrived at accommodation having not been sent codes to gain access to property. Took an hour on customer services for someone to give me the codes. Originally I was told I needed a booking number from hotels.com and I’d have to call them (for reference hotel.com don’t provide a booking number and the itinerary number didn’t work). Eventually got someone to find the booking without it after 3 calls. None of the lights in my bedroom worked. Not a single one. Not even the bedside light. The bathroom light worked but a loud fan came on as a result. The bathroom had no soap or any amenities. Just toilet paper. The shower was mouldy and the shower tray was rusty (see photos). You could hear a lot of noise from the other bedrooms and at 5am the lorries unloading into the Iceland at the back started which made it impossible to sleep (it sounded as if they were being thrown off the truck you could hear them so loudly). Have requested a refund for the two nights I had booked, although I only stayed for one (booked somewhere else after the first night). Yet to hear anything back a week later.
