Private get away and close enough Cle Elum

House was clean and well equipped. Nice beds. Very private. It’s right next to the power lines but that didn’t end up making much of a difference.

Great time

The cabin was pretty much just like the listing said. There were a couple of drawers in the kitchen that could have been cleaned out a little better as there was crumbs and stuff in them but I know these places don’t get deep cleaned every time, the only other thing that I thought odd was that there was not a keurig. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was well stocked

Stargazing in Cle Elum

We loved the isolation of the property and the ability to star gaze. We did enjoy our stay, however we would recommend clearer instructions on how to use the lock on the front door. It locked us out one afternoon and we had to call for assistance. Also wine glasses would have been appreciated. All that was there were martini glasses.

Family Friendly and Spacious!

Albeit brief, our two nights at the cabin was excellent! To be honest, we spent the majority of our time at a lodge nearby attending a wedding and festivities so we used the cabin more for sleeping. That said, the washer and dryer were a plus and the kitchen was fully equipped. A family with young kids would certainly have a good time here and be comfortable. Two full bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) are always a plus! The master bedroom with the king is upstairs which is nice for privacy. The king bed and the queen bed had unique bed frames that were beautifully carved logs to match the theme but in practical use made it difficult for my elderly father to get in and out of bed. Keep that in mind and use the step stool under the sink in the master bedroom. No issues with communication or check in and it’s close enough to Cle Elum that you can skip the provided coffee and go into town to Lum’s for some AMAZING coffee instead. Gas fireplace, cable TV, and all the creature comforts of home!

Idyllic winter getaway

This home is cozy and well-appointed. Loved hge fireplace and the cozy living space. The only things missing were dish towels and a few measuring cups. We will definitely be back!

Bear Crossing

Great cabin. Stayed in winter, great snow, great location, facility. Master suite in loft. Two bedrooms main floor, one queen, one bunk beds. 2 full bathrooms. Clean, well maintained. We were short on towels and Vacasa delivered more. Thanks!

Nice layout and private location. This cabin is in need of major repairs. Sent the property mgr a note with pictures identifying a major hazard, water leak and cleanliness issues due to broken washer/dryer dials. But no acknowledgement from the mgr.

For the most part, fantastic!

The cabin was very cute, beds comfortable & pretty much every kitchen item you could want was a bonus. However, there was nothing to clean the grill with..couches were sticky, almost velcro’d to our clothing, there was no laundry detergent to start the linens as requested and all though pretty clean..there were cobwebs everywhere and the floor had not been swept. All in all, not bad for a last minute booking...but I probably would not “plan” a getaway there again.

Nice property with a few minor needs

We enjoyed our stay at Bear Crossing. It was a nice cabin in a beautiful location just south of Cle Elum. We did have a few minor concerns that could be addressed with housekeeping and maintenance. Most importantly, a majority of the towels and a few of the pillow shams had brown stains on them. Not sure what the stains were but it looked like it could have been old blood. In addition, there was an ongoing leak under the sink that appeared to coming from the garbage disposal. Otherwise it was a well appointed cabin and we'd recommend it if your group is around 6 adults. Thanks again for a nice weekend.

Great weekend away

Pros: cozy cabin fitting 5-6 comfortably. Comfortable beds and bedding. Isolated location for relaxation, outdoor FirePit made for a fun winter fire, bbq with covered deck was nice. Master suite is upstairs- nice layout for a family. Gas fireplace kept the place more than toasty, thankful the master suite had a fan nearby and windows that could be cracked open (downstairs stays cooler and upstairs gets quite warm with the heat rising) Cons: not the cleanest when we arrived, even some dishes were dirty, floors needed cleaning and rugs needed vacuuming . I wouldn’t choose to have a long shag rug in the living area because those just can’t get cleaned or vacuumed well with a rental. Couches had sticky stuff on them that I couldn’t get clean and not comfortable. The noise of the power lines isn’t bad at all and quite interesting to listen to when by the fire. There was a roll of doggy poo bags left by the cleaning company or previous renters? which I felt was odd since no pets are allowed? We love the area and would stay again. But come prepared to clean ourselves in the future. There wasn’t even disinfectant spray that we saw so we could keep up the kitchen after we cooked. Needs more cleaning products on hand for guests to use.

It was fine but expected more for the price.

Overall it was fine, but expected a little more for the price. Random places/things were dirty—there was a spider in one of the cups, the rugs (all shaggy and always stepping on something in it) and the walls. The appliances didn’t work well, for example the freezer was on so low and our food melted, and when we turned it on higher the refrigerator barely functioned. The TV downstairs had awful colors and the wifi was so weak we were better off Just using our phones. It is true that you can hear the powerlines and it’s not very relaxing outside. I was asked to provide feedback when I checked in, but the 24 hour concierge didn’t respond For 5 1/2 hours.

Beautiful home!

This was my first time in Washington and I'll say this gorgeous home is located in a perfect area. Far away from the city and close enough to the small towns and beautiful Washington scenery.

Perfect place

This place was perfect. 3 great bedrooms and two baths, all we needed with fully stocked kitchen too. So glad the bear hanging on the wall was actually not really there, yay! There is also a small coffee pot there now so that's excellent. Would definitely stay here again.
