Beautiful Views!

We were very pleased with the overall cleanliness, location and function of this condo. We loved our time sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves. The views of emerald green waters were breathtaking.

Lovely Stay!

Very clean and cozy condo. We saw dolphins, sting rays and even groups of jellyfish from our balcony. An overall great place to stay!

Our New Spot

Fist time vacationing in Destin and the SunDestin was awesome. Worth every penny and they had beach equipment rentals available so we got to pack light for the drive down. Front desk staff is top notch!

Omission in property description

When we booked our reservations, we were not told of the construction going on in the hotel. We were also not informed that the pool and the hot tub were both unavailable due to construction and the were both of the construction early in the morning was very annoying. The view was great, and the staff was very friendly.

Some people I dealt with on the phone with scenic stays were extremely rude and others were really nice and helpful. Room was clean and nice location. If you have kids I do not agree with the company chairs right on the shoreline. Kids have no room to play and enjoy the ocean. You are almost forced to spend hundreds of dollars for chairs which is ridiculous.

Great getaway for just 2

Had a nice time at Sundestin, in Destin, FL. However, the AC unit is on the patio. A quiet evening enjoying a cocktail can soon be interrupted by the roar of the AC unit. Bedroom is small and there is not a space to set up a suitcase. Kitchen was great, but could use a couple of simple things like coffee filters and maybe a salt & pepper. Overall a relaxing stay but will probably look for something without an AC unit on the patio.

We had a great time. The room was perfect for my spouse and I. However, I do not recommend staying here while the place is having renovations. They start at 8:00am SHARP every morning including the weekend. We will definitely be back after renovations are done.

All you need for a great getaway

The unit was extremely clean and in good condition with a beautiful view. The location was ideal with great amenities compared to other similar priced locations. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, except for one older gentleman who worked the front desk. He was rude and sarcastic to my wife when asking about some of the amenities.

One bad apple

Friday morning the lobby floor and main floor outside our unit had quite a bit of sand on them as the same female cleaning crew employee stood huddled in a corner on both floors texting on her phone for the entire time we were in the areas. I made the remark there was quite a bit of sand around and she angrily applied she was on break and went back to texting. Besides the encounter with her all the staff were very friendly and efficient. Over all we enjoyed our stay and will be back in the spring.
