Family getaway

We had the best week at Criddlestyle cottage For our 3 generations family & two lively dogs it was well set out & roomy, giving us everything we needed. Well situated right on The New Forest & close to the many lovely villages in the area. The coast was half hour away & we found plenty of lovely places to eat, the chippy in Fordingbridge was a winner as was The George on the river. The children’s play area was great for our granddaughters, the main garden unfortunately wasn’t secure enough for one of our dogs (wooden gate at rear of garden), also some road noise when sitting outside. We would definitely recommend Criddlestyle for a family holiday.

Het huis is gelegen aan een drukke weg. Binnen is het heel comfortabel, vooral ook met de hottub. We hebben genoten van het riviertje waar je gemakkelijk vanuit het huis naartoe kan lopen. De keuken is goed geoutilleerd, maar behoeft qua pannen en keukenmessen wel vernieuwing. Inchecken is heel gemakkelijk en duidelijk. We hebben genoten.

Friends Reunited

We had a brilliant time but the sunny weather played its part. There were 9 in the party and there was plenty of room inside and out. Sleeping and shower/bath accommodation excellent. We stayed for a long weekend and ate out apart from the first night. If you were staying longer and wanted to cook a lot there should probably be more pans etc. in the kitchen. However, for a short stay and eating out it was great. No complaints. Would thoroughly recommend the cottage and area is good for walking with good pubs etc for eating out.
