I did stay in the B&B twice in week 31 as pit stop from Denmark to Montpelier.
Arriving first night after 13 hours’ drive; being welcomed by fantastic hosts, who informed they had tried to contact me unsuccessfully, to learn if I was interested in Dinner.
5 min later, I was sitting at the long table, enjoying a row of lovely dishes mainly prepared from vegetables and animals from the farm.
Coming back a few days after, I arrived early enough, to have a nice run in the lovely nature around the B&B before dinner, which repeated to be as successful as my first experience
They ask for 25 € for the meal including vines coffee etc, which is worth A 100
You enjoy dinner with the hosts and all other guests. The host state weather you are president or blue-collar workers your status is equal in my house, everyone speaks and learn from each other at the table, children, pensioners, Swedish, German or from France, language issues disappear with good time and relaxed atmosphere.
Swimming pool opens at 10, but when the host learned I liked to swim in the morning, everything was prepared at 7 AM.
Breakfast is free, and provide a great start of your day, sitting in the garden, enjoying homemade bread and jams, drinking the best coffee I have had for years.
Don’t pass this place it is a pearl!!
