Be carefull - Poisened air

An absolutely worst experience. The owner has painted the bathroom of my room no 2 (kammer 2) and after I had the heating on for a while the room began heavy to stink. I could not reach the owner for change and had to sleep with open windows. Next morning the breakfast started not before 8am (!) and I needed to wait until 8:30am to meet the manager. He was very unpolite and rude and told me that I should go to an doctor with my nose. He do not smell anything. WHAT IS THAT ???? I had headache and felt very ill after this night but he gave nothing on my complain and laughed an me. Also the breakfast is trash ... I book over 600 rooms a year but this was the worst for a long time.

Kamers zijn verschillend in grootte, echter prijs is gelijk. Kamer 14 is vergelijkbaar met 1-persoonskamer maar wordt aangeboden voor 2 personen én voor dezelfde prijs als 2-persoonskamer. Kamers zien er leuk uit, gerenoveerd én schoon! Tv is aan de kleine kant, slechte geluid-én beeldkwaliteit. Echter de douche is erg gedateerd, klein en eenvoudig. Ontbijt is erg eenvoudig, het hoognodige is aanwezig. Enkel koffie/thee en sap (niet vers). Geen cappuccino, croissants, e.d.

Literie est confortable, mais services ne sont pas en rapport avec prix demandé.....passable pour une nuit mais pas plus. 2ème. jour pas de réassortiment du plateau café - thé, poubelles pas vidées, draps bain pas changés....propreté à revoir ! Buffet petit - déjeuner pour un 3 étoiles très, très juste ! Télévision pas 1 seul poste francophone....à quelques kilomètres de la frontière ???

Hotel met rustige omgeving

Mooi hotel op rustige plek met grote parkeerplaats. Bij binnenkomst blijk er die avond een bruiloft. Wordt netjes uitgelegd wat te verwachten. Kamer aan de buitenkant is mooi. Er wordt aangegeven dat de shutters aan de buitenkant dicht kunnen tegen lawaai van de weg en om het donker te maken. Hebben s nachts geen last gehad van de weg of de bruiloft. Wel zijn de kamers erg gehorig mn vloer van boven. Ook matras lag bij ons los zodat je telkens bij zitten op je bed het matras grotendeels meen naar opzij. Maar is makkelijk te verhelpen. Ontbijt in de ochtend was netjes. Werd aangevuld maar geen overdreven extra's zoals croissant. Zou wel leuker zijn.

Prima hotel met goed ontbijt. De sfeer vonden wij wat tegenvallen. 's Avonds niemand aanwezig, geen drankje o.i.d te verkrijgen en dit ondanks het "hoogseizoen".

An excellent choice for a visit to South Limburg

Very friendly and fun hotel to stay in. We had a group of four on a cycling trip, and Rolf and Janine could not have made us more welcome or been more helpful. A locked garage area was available for the bikes, and they assisted us with laundry needs. The hotel bar and restaurant were both excellent and there were several other options within walking distance. We also appreciated being close to, but outside of, the more 'touristy' town of Valkenburg.

Stunning Dutch hotel.

The hotel is ideally located for Valkenburg, Maastricht and Liege. Close to autobahn yet in an idyllic Dutch village location. Decor is stunning. Ample free parking. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. Breakfast is continental style. Staff are warm and welcoming.

Managen van verwachtingen kan beter.

Op het gastheerschap valt niets af te dingen: erg hartelijke ontvangst en de verdere verzorging was ook prima. Het diner en het ontbijt waren gewoon "ok". Toch viel het verblijf tegen. Dit kwam door de kamer: Koud omdat de verwarming niet aan stond, een rioollucht die bleef hangen en het ontbreken van een werkplek. Er waren voor dit geld betere alternatieven in de omgeving geweest. (Van "mijn" kamer stond geen foto op de site.)

Nice friendly hotel, quiet, good location

We stayed in a spacious family room (3 single beds) and used the hotel as a base for a sporting event in Belgium about 1 hour / 75km away. This made the ideal base - a good breakfast in the morning and a friendly welcome when we came back in the evening, with easy access to the highway to Maastricht / Aachen. The kids loved the setting and small, individual touches that made this a unique local hotel compared to a bigger brand chain. They were very accommodating around alterations to the kids menu and have a good range of beers to try sitting on the terrace. It has been a long time since anyone showed us to the room in person. The internet quality was excellent.
