Disappointed and scared.

The master bedroom was not ready and whilst my wife was alone in the house checking the property over a man appeared in the house telling her in broken English that we could not stay in the property. This scared her and she could not get him to leave so had to call me to help in a panic. It took a couple of calls to the owner to work out who he was and to be assured we could in fact stay there. As we had nowhere else to stay we continued with our stay but were scared about whether someone would enter the property whilst we slept in the other rooms. The master bedroom was made up a few days later whilst we were out…

Older ranch house, with updated baths. Kitchen was cramped and older, no dishwasher. Master bed was comfortable.

Great place to stay

Great little house it was perfect for four of us also would be great for 6 people. Very clean, Esther is the lady that lives in the unit behind the house she is very kind and helpful. We would love to stay again next time we are in Redding. Thank you.

Great Family Property

We very much enjoyed our stay at House of Favor. I arrived late evening, so my boyfriend (who is local) was able to check in, stock the fridge, etc. He said that checking in/unlocking the door was a breeze. The property was clean and well appointed. More than enough towels for our family, which is always an issue for me. I see the listing says 1 bathroom, but there are actually TWO, which was a nice surprise. The master bedroom was great - super comfortable bed & I love an attached bathroom. The two add'l rooms were great - our two kids alternated where they stayed each night. The kitchen was simple, but had everything we needed to eat in most meals. All of the air/fans were easy to operate, and it was generally a pleasant stay for my family. We're planning on returning to Redding in Feb and will likely seek out this property again.

Great place to stay in a quiet neighborhood, only a mile from downtown Redding, and close to I-5, which is convenient. Very comfortable beds, 5 in total! Easy driveway parking, and big TV in the living room. Good base for your Northern California adventures.

Is was very clean and nice! Beds are comfortable. Rooms were cool with A/C in each room. Took a walk early in the morning to Caldwell Park & found the Sacramento River Trail. It was a perfect walking path! Great location!

This home was very nice, clean and modern. Our family felt so comfortable there. The neighborhood was quiet and it was close to restaurants and other commerce. I highly recommend this house if your visiting Redding or the greater Mt. Shasta area.
