Waterfront stay in shelton

It was awesome being able to spend time with the family and finding an affordable place that will fit all of us. It was awesome besides the rain, but that didn’t matter. The view was beautiful. Everything was great. Could use a barbecue and a fire pit most definitely would’ve topped it off But other than that it was fantastic.

Thanksgiving stay with family

Stayed over Thanksgiving holiday with my wife and son. This house was perfect great view and well appointed kitchen allowing us to cook a great Thanksgiving meal. Evenings were spent relaxing in the hot tub over looking the inlet waters and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere!

Relaxing family trip

Beautiful location and nice house. The hot tub was great and it was lovely to soak and watch the sunset. The beach is covered in oysters and clams and we watched a seal play in the water none of it really affected there again!

Great for weekend getaway

Stayed here for a long weekend of cooking and hiking with friends, partners, and dogs. Property was well-appointed and had a lovely view. We easily cooked two big dinners together and had everything we needed. Would love to return in warmer months to enjoy the water access!

Great experience

House was well equipped and accommodated our group perfectly. The location is breathtaking. We noticed a couple minor issues, stairs were not swept, algae was growing in the water container in the coffee pot, otherwise everything was awesome. I would stay again.

Amazing with a beautiful view

The property was beautiful and comfortable. Would definitely book this home again! We had no problems with parking or finding anything to help with cooking. They had everything needed for cooking as well as with extra towels for us when we got out the jacuzzi.

Beautiful Location & Stay

We had a lovely time at this home. It had everything we needed for our stay with four teens and three adults. There was an issue with yellow jackets living under the stone stairs on the way to the water (two in our party got stung), but we went down the driveway to avoid them as best we could. We have definitely recommended the location to friends and family and will probably be back again.

Wonderful sunset views from the deck❤️

Sweet little house and a smooth process of renting. Great automated communication through Vacasa. House has a happy atmosphere & is well maintained inside and out. Not a ton of cooking supplies so be sure to bring your own if you are making big meals at the house. We were so thankful to have a beautiful and relaxing vacation on the water. Thanks so much for the great visit!

Phenomenal view!!

The location on the inlet at Puget Sound was amazing - beautiful, peaceful, pine aroma, lots of seals and otters playing in the water. Gorgeous sunsets. It was pretty rainy the majority of our time. Perfect spot to play games and look out at the scenery. Kitchen was well stocked and well arranged bedrooms for family gathering. We highly appreciate the dog friendly option.

Location was beautiful. The house was well decorated. Overall the house lacked amenities and was not clean. The floors were dirty needed to be vacuumed and mopped. There was a lot of dust and hair and window sills etc. There were dirty dishes in the cupboards and drawers. There were old dried out tortillas in a pan in the oven. The house lacked amenity such as a hair dryer and conditioner even though shampoo had been provided. There was also a lack of cleaning supplies for us to use. Very little garbage bags are provided for example and no cleaning spray. The air conditioner went out on the third night and the house got very hot. Overall a two out of five

Not ready for rent

The view was lovely and the beds were comfortable. The office was great and the kitchen was large and being able to bring the dog was the best, but the house just didn’t seem ready for rent. There were dead bugs and dust all over. The stairs in the backyard are not properly secured. The hot tub was dirty and both showers were not clean. This was particularly true for the primary bedroom which has a really small shower where you could see how dirty everything was up close. The fixtures in both bathrooms were not clean and the water that came out of the spigots was occasionally brown. This matched the stains in the washing machine which we realized could easily have been cleaned but no one did. It just seemed like no one had known we were coming

2nd time coming here

The place location is exactly what we wanted from the first time we stayed here till this time around. We have a big family and most are kids, so finding a place with water and a hot tub was a must. Our kids enjoyed kayaking out on the water. When we first stayed here we made a review about how the house was filthy. Housekeepers left items in drawers that were pretty personal stuff. So we thought it would have been better this time around. This time around it got worst- floors were dirty (our feet were dirty every time we walked on it) every single drawer had old remnants of food spills from either last renters, place was completely dusty, the sheets were never washed and comforters had stains, it stinked and was dirty. Windows are broken, drawers are falling out in the bathrooms. Screens were filthy. Dishes were completely filled with food. The moldings on the stairs are still broken even from the last time we were here. The kids room had old shells and crabs so the room smelt like rotton fish. The washers drain needed to be drained from the bottom- it was completely filled. So we did that so we can wash our clothes. I was expecting it to be a better experience, but this time around it was just really bad. You folks definitely need a better cleaner who would take pride into cleaning this home. And another thing- a BBQ grill would be nice. Unfortunately this will be our very last time to stay in this home. I’m only giving a 2 star because our kids enjoyed the water outside with kayaking.

The location and place was wonderful for a few beach days! We enjoyed the hot tub at night and kitchen was well stocked. Great selection of games and puzzles as well. A grill would be a nice addition! We’ll definitely be back!

On Hammersly Inlet

We spent six nights here with our adult kids and really enjoyed the space and the location. It was fun exploring the beach at low tide and watching the sunset from the hot tub. The house is spacious, bright, and very comfortable. We loved exploring the south Puget Sound area—this place was an excellent home base for our adventures. I highly recommend it.
