A beautiful setting and peaceful retreat as there is no through road to the house. Lots of space and well equipped, it was a pleasure to be able to cook proper meals in a lovely kitchen and have a warm glow from the woodburner in the evenings. An amazing farm in the middle of nowhere.

An amazing farm in the middle of nowhere. So peaceful and quiet, loads of wildlife to see, great country walks and a fantastic base to explore West Wales. The local village has a good store and takeaway and there’s a pub we didn’t try this time round. Fantastic break away with the kids, would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to escape to the country and really relax in beautiful surroundings. Great location, great house.

We had a really lovely week. The house had everything we needed (Covid restrictions allowing), was really homely and warm. The location was fantastic, very quiet with lovely views and walks from the front door, and a fantastic nature reserve just across the way including access to a good cycleway. A great experience.

We have had a perfect stay at pengraig.

We have had a perfect stay at pengraig. The cottage has everything you need and very good quality furniture, comfy beds and a great kitchen, and a fantastic wood burning stove. The location is very remote, which was ideal for us. The kids had a great time exploring the grounds around the house and saying hello to the sheep, cows and rabbits, in the safety of being well up from the main road. (The stars from here are breathtaking. There is no light pollution in any direction.) But the village of Tregaron has everything you need just 5 mins down the road. Beautiful region with wide open spaces, forests, mountains, rivers...just perfect for nature lovers. Would love to stay again in the future! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We have a lovely stay at Pengraig .

We have a lovely stay at Pengraig . The Cottage was warm and welcoming . Being able to let the dog straight out into the grounds was great . Our boys loved the isolation of it , walking along the dark lanes with their torches at night .The cottage was equipped , the bedrooms were all very cosy and comfortable beds. The small village was around a 5 minute drive away , where all the basics were available . We had a lovely meal in the Talbot Hotel in the Village and were made very welcome.

We stayed at Pengraig for 4 nights in late Aug/early Sep as a family of 4.

We stayed at Pengraig for 4 nights in late Aug/early Sep as a family of 4. The location is stunning - right in the heart of the countryside with excellent views and beautiful hills to explore on the doorstep. Your only neighbours for the week are the farm’s sheep, and it’s so lovely and quiet. The cottage itself is fantastic - everything has been thought about and there was nothing we needed that we didn’t find there. The decor and furnishings are all lovely, and you can see that a lot of care has gone into making it really cosy, with great attention to detail. The log fire in the living room makes it even more cosy! Lots of space - much more than I had thought from looking at the photos beforehand. The owners were great - really accommodating with arrival times, and also went to the trouble of posting us back something we’d left behind at the house - above and beyond! We’d all definitely consider staying at Pengraig for another holiday!

Lovely cottage which was immaculate. The floors are old tiles and whilst lovely to look at are cold in the mornings for little peoples feet. Definitely pack slippers and enjoy a real log fire every night. Would definitely go back.

There is a lovely nature reserve virtually on the doorstep, Cors Caron which we walked around, we saw horses and swans! This cottage is perfect for a family with young children.
