Schön ruhiges Plätzchen

Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief unkompliziert und schnell.Vor Ort wurden wir von Marcos empfangen und eingewiesen. Er war unser Kontakt vor Ort, und hätte bei Problemen stets geholfen.Wir haben in diesem wirklich schönen Häuschen eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht.Es war alles wie beschrieben.

Casa super acogedora

La casa es una maravilla para una familia de 4 miembros, muy espaciosa, con muchas estancias para estar muy cómodo y todo lo necesario para disfrutarla. La persona que nos atendió, Marco, es un apoyo continuo para cualquier cosa que se requiera.La casa se encuentra en perfecto estado de revista, limpia y ordenada.Una buena experiencia para disfrutar de los descansos en la Isla.

Sehr großes, in die Jahre gekommenes Haus. An sich ganz in Ordnung. Alles da, was man braucht. Aber.......Der Geruch nach Abwasser in allen Räumen. Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher zwar sauber aber modrig. Der Pool schmutzig. Die Terrasse hätte man auch entstauben können. Im Garten waren die meisten Pflanzen vertrocknet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Wir haben das Beste daraus gemacht. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht in Ordnung. Würden das Objekt nicht noch einmal mieten.

Amazing mansion with beautiful views

We visited this mansion this year in October for 12 days with four adults. We have to disagree to some of the prior comments, because we absolutely loved the house! The oven works perfectly, you just need to put the timer on before, because the oven turns off after the adjusted time. The pool doesn’t work for swimming competitions, but for refreshing on a warm day it is just ideal. About the smells out of the drains there is a piece of paper with the advice to use the taps regularly so there wouldn’t be any bad smells and the hot water in the shower doesn’t take longer to start than in our home. We really loved the spaciousness and luxury of the house! The garden and the view on the Vulcans are dreamlike and the village Tiscamanita has a small supermarket and a witty restaurant “Casa Luis”. They don’t use a menu, but after we had a confused look on our faces after he had told us the menu of the day in Spanish we were served a variety of everything and even got some schnapps afterwards. The caretakers of the house are very friendly, getting in contact with them and the landlord was very easy, and the pool was cleaned every third day. Everything was very clean and lovely decorated. A little more cutlery would be awesome, but if you wash some dishes from time to time, we had no problem. The shower room is amazing – what a luxury! Out of one bedroom you have a direct view into the garden and on the mountains behind it. The location is perfect, because you can reach the south and the north perfectly from the house Us four, we are totally delighted and would love to rent the house again when we come back to visit the amazing landscape of Fuerteventura!

Expansive and quiet property

The property was surprisingly large vs the impression from the pictures with loads of sitting and lounging areas. It was quite cluttered with the owner's things - extra linen and towels, books, ornaments etc - which some people would like as homely; our preference would have been for a bit more pared-back. Some basic kitchen utensils were a bit thin on the ground (forks). Overall, however, very pretty and the main shower was amazing!! The oven was not working properly - and my impression was that this was a long term problem. Initially we were told not to use - then when we persisted that we needed, the owner came round to show us how to twiddle with the knobs and timers to get it 'sort of' working. We had been going to use the BBQ and pizza oven instead, but this was impossible because BBQ had been built without protection to the strong winds and there was no pizza shovel. There was a problem with a strong sewage smell from the toilet into the patio. The owner very rapidly got someone to fix this when we flagged it to her - and overall was very responsive to the problems we had. Tiscamanita and the property itself is a bit in the middle of nowhere - made it very quiet which was great, but a bit of a drive to reasonable shops etc. We used the surrounding trails for running, which were fine, with no cars, if not particularly lovely to look at.

Big house in typical Fuerteventura surroundings, which needs attention by proprietors

The house is very big, there is a nice garden and a very small swimming pool. We had a good holiday for 10 days in the first weeks of April. We do have the following comments: - the house was not clean especialy the kitchen and lots of dust in the other rooms. - there was a lot of rubbish to find in the drawers and cupboards, like plastic bags, a number of old routers, etc. (unusefull things) - a strong smell of sewage into the house, which was already mentioned in earlier revues. - no cushions available for the woodens chairs in the patio. - one of the garden chairs was broken, chairs enough, but still. - a lot of mess behind the oven and BBQ in the garden. - very small swimming pool, not suitable for a swim. It was not cleaned during our stay of 10 days. - lots of dead plants in the pots in the garden, while some are filled only with marbles. - lights not connected (loose wires) and from a number lights the bulbs did not work. - we do not understand why there were 2 huge fridges in the kitchen, both working. - noise due to streaming water in the shower of the twin bedded bedroom. (whilst not using it !) - surplus tiles (from the floor) stored under the washbasin and table next to the bed in the twin bedded bedroom. - because the solar-hot-water boiler was located a rather long distance from the house it took a very long time (and lots of water) to have hot water in the master bedroom. The kitchen is provided with an inline- hot-water-boiler. - the house is located directly to a secundairy road. There is not much traffic, but cars and motorbikes are passing by with a considerable speed. - oven was broken, which was mentioned in the information we have got. As already mentioned; we have had a good holiday at Fuerteventura, but this is not because of the house. We think that the value for money-ratio is poor and that the proprietors of this house must spend extra attention to bring it to an acceptable level. We also think that this house is not suitable for 6 persons, because of the poor facilities for the persons who have to sleep in the living room. (no curtains, etc,)

The villa was in a perfect location in the centre of the island and on the outskirts of Tiscamanita.

The property was modern and well equipped for our stay. The layout however was a surprise as the twin bedroom was in a separate annex that was accessed by a small outside courtyard from the main property which may not suit families with younger children. There was a strong smell of sewage/ drains in the courtyard and the annex making it unusable for our stay and so we moved the single beds into the main villa. Also the villa is supposed to sleep 6 people, using the lounge as an additional bedroom and in our opinion this is not ideal as there are no window coverings to the large picture window or privacy for the additional occupants. The garden was attractive and enclosed with some new plants and trees plus lots of pot plants such as cacti. The walled garden sheltered the garden from the wind which we liked. The swimming pool was well maintained and cleaned twice during the week stay but was smaller than we expected from the description of 5m by 2m and better described as a plunge pool as it wasn’t large enough for swimming. In summary while there was lots of positive points about the villa but the description needs to be amended to better reflect layout.

Muy buena

En general todo muy bien, la casa es estupenda. Muy amplia y muy bien decorada, con muebles cómodos. Solamente un comentario, que creo no queda claro en la descripción. La casa tiene dos baños y ningún aseo. En nuestra estancia el segundo dormitorio/baño estaban cerrados. Se debería mejorar el cuidado de la piscina.

Très belle maison, bien située au centre de l'île et agréable à vivre

Belle maison, bien décorée et agréable à vivre. Jardin très joli et bien aménagé. Situation calme et idéale au centre de l'île avec belle vue sur les montagnes. Mériterait un peu plus de chauffage en hiver. Sinon, excellent séjour !
