A cabin in a private place yet close to activities

Enjoy this quiet cabin nestled in the trees near Lake Lure. You can come here simply to unwind and relax. There is room for six people to sleep not counting the day bed on the big porch. Enjoy the trails on the property, sit around the fire pit in the evening, roasting marshmallows, telling stories and making memories. There is plenty to do within minutes from the property. We are minutes away from hiking trails, zip-lining, tubing, white water rafting and lake sports. Explore the quaint mountain towns and their unique little shops and restaurants.

The Cabin has 1 bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, there is a large loft with 2 twin beds and 2 twin trundle beds, the couch pulls out to another queen as well. Although it is a small cabin it comfortably hosts six people. There is a full kitchen with place setting for six, pots and pans, a microwave, stove and fridge.

Charming cabin getaway
We love this cabin, this is our second time here. The hosts are wonderful and your every need is met. The covered porch with the bed swing is wonderful, we spent so much time relaxing, looking at the beautiful trees.

Wonderful & Relaxing Retreat
Chantal’s cabin is just lovely. It was the perfect spot to relax for a week and be out in nature. It’s so charming and so well stocked for everything you could possibly need! We loved our time at the cabin and hope to come back again on other next visit to the area. We only wish we could have enjoyed the front porch more but were bothered by some pesky wasps. Thank you Chantal for making things so wonderful for your guests!

Two overnights stay
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin which is nicely decorated and felt cozy. The owners of the property put their hearts to provide the convenience of house supplies for the stay as well as a warm welcome note with sweet treat. The location of the house is idea and also good value for the price if you want to visit Chimney Rock and lake lure, there is an Ingles market nearby for you to buy food if needed. One side note: make sure follow the driving instructions once off the public maintained road into the private road leading to the house as the google map leads to a different house nearby.

Cozy, Private Retreat
My husband and I had the privilege of staying in this charming cabin the first of January. Chantal is the best host we have ever had while staying at a VRBO cabin. She was very quick to respond to any questions. The cabin was very comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing and reading while there. We visited Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. One day we spent in Hendersonville. We drove over to Rutherfordton one evening to have dinner at the Copper Penny. The cabin is certainly very private. We only saw one car pass by the whole time we were there. The road and driveway are very easy to navigate. We were in a Buick Enclave and we did not have any trouble with the roads. It rained a lot one day while we were there, and I thought the roads may be muddy, but they weren't. Thank you so much, Chantal, for sharing your cabin with us. Every time I think back on our stay I pray God will bless you richly for being such a generous person.

2023 Getaway Girls Trip.
Loved the setting of the cabin in the woods.Plenty of space there were 6 of the Silver ladies.We visited Lake Lure and the flower bridge.spent alot of time on the porch and a night at the firepit too.we spent some time painting rocks and pictures and even left a few.did see some deer coming in a couple of times.would definetly recomend this cabin.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods
This is our second stay at this property, and we have never been disappointed. It's located near Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Tryon, and Rutherfordton, so there is always the option to find something to do - but I recommend spending most of your time on the porch, if at all possible.

Reminiscent of Simpler Times
Enjoyed a wonderful time relaxing in the cabin. There was plenty of cookware, host provided all supplies for the coffee pot and the Keurig. There were many things available in the cabin that are not always supplied like Band aides. Only saw two cars go past the cabin in the couple of days we were there. Recommended if you'd like a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy nature. We saw many deer, a turkey, a bunny, and a bird nest. Enjoy your stay.

Cute Cabin in The Woods
We enjoyed our stay in this cabin near Lake Lure. It was quiet and peaceful, which is all we wanted for a couple of days. It's an easy drive from there to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. However, the road to get to the cabin is mostly gravel and dirt. Very dusty and at times narrow and steep, so if you are not accustomed to these types of roads, or if you have a sports car, you may want to reassess your booking. We found the house itself to be clean and comfortable. There was literally nothing missing for preparing food and drinks. A great selection of cookware, utensils, and glassware. The grill is awesome, large, and very clean. There is a Roku TV with the usual streaming services to choose from. The internet service is Viasat, so it's not really "high speed" like we're used to with wired internet, but it was enough for streaming TV and music. There's a gas station and Ingles grocery close by, so you won't be lacking options for food, bevs, etc. Communication with the host was great. All inquiries were responded to promptly.

Lovely stay
My son and I had a wonderful time on our springbreak vacation. I liked how secluded it felt being in the woods and hearing and seeing the wildlife. I loved sitting on the front porch swing in the morning drinking coffe and listening to the birds. One morning while we were leaving for Chimney Rock, we saw three deer in the woods. My teenage son especially enjoyed the Roku. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Gorgeous cabin!!
This cabin is so amazing, I recommend this place 101%, everything was so perfect, every single detail, it feels like home away from home, i so regret that i only reserved for 3 days, I didn't want to leave such a beautiful place, the owners really went above and beyond to make sure renters have everything they need. I want to go back already. Thank you for sharing such a cute and peaceful place. I wish i could live there. We came from hot and humid Florida to totally recharge and enjoy the outdoors, it was cold but beautiful. Thank you Chantal!!!
