what did we like??? nothing. what we didn't like??? ALL THE REST. everything is dirty, the sheets, the blankets the windows, dusty cabinets. the walls and windows are moist and full of moldiness and fungus. you smell the moist and fungus all over the place especially from the bathroom. i got sick after first night , and i sneezed like i never did before. the white paint is peeling off and falling from the walls and form the ceiling to the beds. most of the electric outlets are not working. there is no heating or AC , was cold . and when complained they nicely got us extra blankets but were also not clean and smell cigarettes. no tv, or any other amenities . no hot running water , understood they rely on the solar heating , and if you run out of hot water you have to use the cold water for the rest of the night. our first night we had no hot or warm water at all in both room. next night there was hot water , but we turned on the electric heating so we could get enough hot water for the six of us , but the electricity was shot down because of a load. and they told us not to turn it on and we should have enough hot water for the night. we stayed there 3 days and never had a shower, not because of the hot water , but because of bathroom conditions. the bathrooms we filthy , old peeling tabs and amenities , the ceiling was almost falling , paint falling off , and the "not so hot" water runs very slow. the towels smelled clean but looked not, with dark spots. ... etc

Man kann es in diesem Hotel sehr gut aushalten, wenn man keine hohen Ansprüche hat und auf Komfort und Service gut verzichten kann. Es gibt kein Frühstück und keinen Roomservice, man bekommt neue Handtücher und Klopapier auf Nachfrage. Seife, Föhn etc - nicht vorhanden. Einige Handtücher hatten schon Flecken, die scheinbar beim Waschen nicht mehr herausgehen oder nicht heiß genug gewaschen waren. Bettwäsche besteht aus zwei Laken und Synthetik-Decken, die keinen sauberen Eindruck machen. Die Fenster sind nicht geputzt, die Einrichtung wirkt ungepflegt. ABER - der Hotelbesitzer ist sehr nett und immer bereit zur Verfügung zu stellen, was fehlt. Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig gelegen in der Nähe der Geburtskirche und ist billig.

WARNUNG&ACHTUNG!Abzock und Betrugsmasche im Hotel!

Es wurde eine Touristensteuer, zusätzliche Mehrwertsteuer, ein erhöhter Wechselkurs sowie doppelte Abrechnungsgebühren weil die Buchung bei Hotels.com storniert wurde (check-in nach Mitternacht), verlangt. So wurde der doppelte Preis bezahlt und auch das war nicht genug, am nächsten Tag sollte man noch nachzahlen. Ein Besuch bei der Touristenpolizei brachte Aufklärung und nach Erklärung gab es etwas Geld zurück, leider nicht die volle Summe, die überzahlt wurde. Kann vor diesem Hotel nur warnen, zudem war die Ausstattung eher im Stil der 60er Jahre, es wurde sich zwar um Sauberkeit bemüht, leider jedoch erfolglos. Ich kann von diesem Hotel aus eigener Erfahrung leider nur mit allem Nachdruck abraten und vor den Praktiken der Abrechnung warnen. Die Buchung sollte ja in USD bezahlt werden, häte ich diese gehabt, wären alle diese Gebühren nicht angefallen, da ich jedoch nur Schekel hatte, gab es all diese Zusatzgebühren. So werden Touristen in fernen Ländern abgezockt. Ich hoffe, dass man dieser Praktik Einhalt gebieten wird!

Avoid, cold, no hot water I got ill, horribleowner

When I arrived, the owner wanted to make me pay 100 $ instead of 80$ because he said he didn't have a single room. I insisted I had booked a single room for two nights, 80$ and he finally showed me a single room, in which I couldn't stay because it was disgusting. He finally accepted a doublé room 80$ but the room was so so cold, that I finally was very ill with a fever. He didn't want to connect hot water, so I had to clean myself with very cold water. I stayed only one night but I had paid two. Very bad experience, the owner was awful. I would like to be refunded of the second night, if I left it was a question of health
