“The Savoy is a mixture of good and bad. The public rooms are beautiful with a lot of original features. Our suite at first glance looked fresh and clean but on closer inspection the bathroom was quite dirty. The bath at some time was a Jacuzzi but this no longer functioned as such. The tiles on the bathroom floor were incredibly slippery - we had to lay towels over the entire floor. We would have liked bath robes to be available. “Excellent lovely stay the Lilly hotel. Bed was excellent and room offered everything that i expected. Only issue was there was no milk for the tea and coffee supplied in the room. We didn’t ask for any. Furniture was dated but acceptable. Pleasant stay and will definitely be going back again in the future.”

“The location is within walking distance of the town centre and is close to the promenade.
The room was spacious and extremely clean.
We didn’t see any staff because this hotel is a let yourself in place, we were given a number to use for the front entrance and a separate one for our room, plus a telephone number for if we struggled.
We were pleasantly surprised for the amount we paid, perfectly adequate for a budget room for a night away.”
