"Loved this cute little old-fashioned beachfront cottage. The vaulted ceilings made it seem so much bigger and more open. The wood on the ceilings was also a great decorative idea. Perfect amount of space for my husband and me (two active seniors who love the beach)."
"We visited for a sistercation, party of 3! The house is very cute inside. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was in working order and clean. The location is awesome and the views from the decks are great! We loved that it’s self check in too. Hurricane Erin provided monstrous waves with hundreds of surfers putting on a great show! We found a few shark’s teeth and saw dolphins. "

"All of us - 9 adults and 7 kids under 5 - loved the cottage and the location. Oak Island had a small town feel; no large hotels or condos, lots of families with children. The beach was very wide and the ocean was just right with small waves and tide pools. The cottage was a short walk to the beach and so it was somewhat secluded. We didn’t worry about bothering anyone or being too loud. The interior is well appointed, with the hot tub, the elevator, the two refrigerators and especially the two dishwasher - everything just right. I can’t praise it enough. "
