About a 2- 3 star hotel. Ok for a night we could not find another hotel in area. Clean, could improve room if it had a fridge and coffee making facilities. Food ok but limited.

The spot for exploring the Norther Jordan

Perfect spot for exploring the Northern part of Jordan. The staff gave us some very usefull information for what to see and do. Arrived late night - no problem the staff was very kind to us.

Buena opción para visitar las ruinas romanas

En Gerash no hay muchos alojamientos y este es recomendable. El hotel es espartano, pero está en un entorno muy bonito y las habitaciones son amplias. El personal es muy amable y atento, y el desayuno es decente. La única pega es que no es facil encontrarlo, sobre todo si llegas de noche.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay here to visit the beautiful ruins at Jerash. The Olive Branch has a beautiful vista over Jerash and is an incredibly soothing place to be - would definitely recommend a night here rather than a day-trip from Amman. The hospitality we had was top-rate.

Decent basic hotel not far from Jerash

Hotel wasn't horrible and wasn't amazing. Wifi only worked for about 5 mins the entire time I was there and little to no phone service. Outside of that it was a decent basic room, in a good location for Jerash, relatively clean and there was a huge breakfast that looked amazing I just wanted and had coffee.

The view was really nice and it was nice and cool at night up on the hill. The bed was comfortable, and the room was really large and came with a little fridge. Dinner was really good and served on the patio overlooking the city. Warning, this place was hard to find and many of the locals had not heard of it. If you are traveling with GPS it would be a big asset finding it.

A Comfortable Rest From the Rigors of Travel

Delightful staff and management. A great place to take a break and/or rest from the harder work of travel. Somewhat removed from central Jerash but transport/tax/driver available. Very comfortable and low key during week. I imagine weekends to be more popular with visitors escaping Amman to enjoy the low mountain/garden/grove setting

One of the only hotels in the area. Therefor it’s Quite expendive, especially considering what you get. The hotel’s quite outdated, but has the nescessary things. It even has a fridge. On the positive site: the view is stunning!

"Best Available" in Jerash area

Around Jerrash there are few places to stay, so we chose this one. It is up in the hills above Jerrash and a bit hrs to find. The facility is average, but the room was fine. If eating there be prepared for a basic experience. The manager was responsive when a breaker went out so no hot water for morning shower.

Hôtel tranquille, bien placé pour visiter le site de Jerash. L'établissement est néanmoins vieillissant. Il n'y avait pas de chauffage dans les parties communes. Mais pas de problème dans la chambre.

Beautiful location, close to great Roman ruins

Beautifully located on top of a hill with impressive views. An older hotel, though the term is relative in this part of the world! Staff was very helpful and cooked up a nice breakfast.

A wonderful hotel maybe a bit past its prime

During my overnight stay at the Olive Branch, I couldn't help but thinking how amazing this hotel probably was when it was first built. High up on a hilltop, the views are fantastic and the on-site amenities are quite extensive including a pool and children's play areas. In its current state, though, it seems more like a hotel that you'd find near Chernobyl, frozen in time for the past 30 years. That said, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and they put me up in a room that had an amazing view of the valley below. The meals were decent if not out of this world and I could find no fault with my room other than the peeling paint on the walls. I wouldn't go to this hotel expecting 5-star service and accommodations, but as long as you keep your expectations modest, I think the Olive Branch will please.

Great location

Sin duda, lo mejor el precio

Solo fue una estancia de una noche, nos costó mucho llegar sin gps en el coche, hasta el punto que tuvimos que seguir a un taxi tras dar vueltas por Jerash. No hay referencias del hotel, que se encuentra en un camino sin asfaltar en una colina. Las habitaciones nuevas están muy bien, pero el edificio principal está bastante descuidado. Eso si, la atención del personal fue muy buena. Le salva la cercanía a las ruinas romanas.

Hôtel très agréable mais difficile à trouver. Il faut bien regarder et faire attention. Il y a une route qui part sur la droite à environ 2-3 km du site de Jerash vers Ijlun. L'endroit est super et la vue très agréable.
