Location to downtown was great. Check in and communication was great. The couch was broken and worn. Inside of the unit was pretty humid. The fans provided did help. Overall, pretty good. No major complaints.

The property was very close to all the cute shops and restaurants and had easy parking close the building. Our hose was very responsive and had great communication about check-in/check out. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Not for families

We had high hopes for this rental, but our experience was far from satisfactory. We stayed for a single night (Sunday) on our way to the beach. Upon arrival, we were met with an empty downtown area. While I understood that the stores/restaurants would be closed, I was surprised to find ourselves as the only people there. I planned to leave out large items at the bottom of the stairs, but I didn’t realize that the stairs were shared with other lofts. Consequently, we had to lug all our beach gear up uneven stairs without air conditioning. The loft was nicely decorated, as shown in the photos, but, the couch frame was broken in the middle, this was visible when we entered. We had planned for my daughter to sleep there, so we had to move her to our bed. The bunkbeds had food crumbs and hair on it. To make matters worse, the unit only had one mini-split and no fan in the separate room, resulting in a stifling heat. When we finally got into bed, the tilt from the building was extremely noticeable, making it difficult to fall asleep. We all struggled against gravity throughout the night. Another major concern was the lack of security. There was no deadbolt in the unit. This coupled with a the desolate downtown, and homeless population made us feel unsafe. Laurel is not the sleepy town displayed on TV. After our disappointing experience, I decided to contact the owner to express my concerns. However, we didn’t receive a response.

Beautiful Loft! Wonderful trip!

Late arrival to a memorable anniversary trip

We arrived late and easily got into the unit. We found out that AC did not work so we reached out and they quickly responded even with it being late. We ended up moving to another unit the next day but they made sure everything was great. The location was perfect. We had a great a great time. Will visit again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at this well equipped and nicely renovated loft. We loved the open floor plan and aged ambience. What a gem! The owners were very kind and responsive. The location is walking distance from anywhere in downtown Laurel. Way better than staying in a hotel.

Girls Get-away

As fans of HGTV we wanted to visit Laurel, MS. This loft was great for our trip. The location and size were perfect for 3 grown adults. We could walk to shop and eat great food! Bonus - the Mardi Gras parade came right by our windows! Only complaint was it was extremely cold during our stay and this loft was difficult to get warm. Not the owners fault - thank mother nature!

Gathering for memorial service for family member

Laurel Lofts are perfect and the Bertha suite was amazing. We had everything we needed and there was plenty of room the one night our grands stayed with us. The bunk bed was a hit! The location was perfect. Peter and Lisa are the best!

Wonderful Experience
