Summertime getaway

Overall this home was great for our family of 6 (including a 2 year old). It was clean and the pool/dock was very nice. While this house is new and very clean, there were some issues we ran into. It’s not well appointed for a house that aims to accommodate a large group. For starters there were no hair dryers anywhere in the house, we reached out but the host was out of town and there wasn’t much she could do. There were 4 trash bags….in the entire house…for a family of 7 for 7 days. No extras. There were no dish towels, dish rags, sponges, dish washing liquid, or dishwashing tabs. There were no cookie sheets to bake on. The floors were also super slick and there weren’t any rugs to buffer the surface area. It was definitely a hazard for our toddler. There was also an umbrella on the patio/top deck that was not secured. It was in a stand but couldn’t be tightened. It became a hazard when the wind was anything more than a slight breeze. Overall, the house is great but it definitely needs some adjustments. There were several other houses owned by the same rental company in on this street, so I’m not sure how these things are getting missed but when you travel with a larger group these things are sort of a necessity that shouldn’t have to be bothered with when on vacation.

Summer 2024 family vacation

We absolutely loved the house and the location. Very easy to contact the property manager. We will definitely be back and look forward to next year.
