「As an older hotel, it has a few cosmetic things but nothing major. Very quiet but also off season- great rate!! We had an issue with the blow dryer which was taken care of very quickly by maintenance. Enjoyed our stay」

「The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. It could definitely use a remodel. The beach is not visible from the rooms. You have to go up and out onto the beach access which is easy enough.」

「I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. Lisa, the innkeeper, was very helpful and friendly. Beth, the Manager and breakfast chef was super hospitable. With the beach just a short walk away...we...
