The hotel was super cool. I liked that they had ambience in the lobby, complete with music and hang out spots. The rooms were immaculate, and I liked there was laundry and a kitchen. The location was close to downtown, so everything was walkable. However, being in the core of Ottawa, there were some questionable people hovering nearby. I didn’t feel unsafe with my children, I just made sure to keep an eye on things as we walked through.

I did not appreciate the need to send a lot of personal information to the company. It felt invasive and security violating. And to not have staff at a front desk was not helpful. And, and there was no parking. Argh.

The rooms are very spacious, clean, equipped with everything you require. The rooms are beautiful. Convenient to walk to certain establishments.

Until the parking situation gets fixed, we’ll be staying elsewhere, which is too bad. We had a week and not once could access the underground. I know the garage is not the hotel’s, but have never had this issue during many past visits.

Everything was great other than a few things like the broken kitchen shelf and toilet paper holder. We were also a bit annoyed by the air conditioner turning on every minute super loud.

Had never even heard of this place, booked it solely on the name. It exceeded our expectations. Super friendly staff, fancy hotel and an apartment room for the price of a reg hotel room elsewhere. The games room was a totally hit for the kids (& life saver for parents.). Thanks so much!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sonder Rideau Apartment! The place was super spacious and clean, which made a big difference for us since we stayed a few days—it felt comfortable and easy to relax. The location was perfect too, just a short walk to downtown, Parliament, and the ByWard Market. Only small things: the AC was a bit noisy and the bed a little firm, but overall it was a great experience. We’d happily stay at a Sonder again!

This property came up when I used the "parking" filter but there is no parking. There is street parking and a 3rd party garage nearby, but no parking for the hotel. Unfortunately, it was too late by the time I got access to this level of detail; that only came after I booked it. The place was clean but smelled heavily of chemical smell masker like Febreeze. Otherwise it was good.

Hotel with a good location. Excellent room (spacious, clean). The only downside is that it said it had a sofa bed, but it was a regular one.
