Fabulous house in a very convenient location.

Fabulous house in a very convenient location. It's very close to the sea front, grocery stores and a couple of lovely cafes for a nice breakfast. We were able to walk into Paignton in about 20 minutes, too! There is also a nice pub (The Ship) about 5-6 mins walk away, serving lovely evening food.The house itself is cosy and has lovely bright rooms. We think it might be a squeeze for 8 people, though, certainly in the lounge area. The house has great facilities and the hot tub is fab, too. Only suggestions we have is a few more utensils in the kitchen (we had to buy a potato masher), hooks for robes in the bathrooms, mirrors in the bedrooms and a selection of leaflets of local attractions for new-comers to the area (we left some behind). It could also do with some simple instructions on how to use some of kitchen appliances - we had fun working out how they all work!The driveway at the back is quite tight for a large car (we had a Land Rover) but it's fab having an off-road parking area.We would thoroughly recommend the property to others and hope to return again soon! :-)

Beautiful property, immaculately presented and very clean.

Beautiful property, immaculately presented and very clean. Fantastic location, walkable to beach and seafront. Bedrooms are all good sizes, with comfy beds and pillows and lovely soft towels in the bathrooms.Lovely garden and the jacuzzi was brilliant - nice and hot (temperature is adjustable) and very clean. There’s parking for two cars at the back of the property. It’s a bit tight though and you’d probably struggle to fit two large cars in the drive. (We had a 4x4 and a medium sized car and managed to squeeze them both in.) There were a few (very minor) things that could help make guests’ stay even more comfortable - the bathrooms and bedrooms could do with hooks behind the doors for towels. Bedrooms would all benefit from some mirrors, and the kitchen could do with a few more items of crockery ie large serving bowls etc and a drying rack for dishes given there is no dishwasher. Lots to do in the local area. Nearby Torquay has loads going on - the Waves leisure centre is less than 10 mins drive and great if you have kids (wave pool, water slides, kids splash area etc) and the Babbacombe Cliff Railway is really enjoyable. Loads of beaches in both Paignton and Torquay to choose from. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property.
