Prefer the money than our security

Nous recommandons de NE PAS RESERVER avec cette société. Nous devions séjourner à Venise durant la semaine du 2 mars 2020 mais avons préféré y renoncer. Les autorités italiennes ont déclaré des cas de Coronavirus la semaine précédente. Le carnaval a été annulé. Les monuments étaient fermés ou sont restés ouverts avec de fortes contraintes avant d'être complétement fermés. Les autorités françaises recommandaient de ne pas voyager vers cette destination. Durant la durée où était prévu notre séjour, la région est passé en confinement. La société a refusé toutes formes de remboursement même compte tenu de la situation. Surtout que compte tenu de notre non venue, cela leur économisait l'électricité, l'eau, le nettoyage et était meilleur pour leur sécurité également. Le pire étant qu'ils nous ont même certifié que nous pouvions venir sans risque (c'est les médias qui grossiraient la situation). Lorsque nous pourrons venir à nouveau à Venise, nous ne séjournerons pas avec cette société. We recommend to NOT BOOK with this company. We were to go in Venice during the week of March 2, 2020 but preferred to give it up. Italian authorities have reported cases of Coronavirus the previous week. The carnival has been canceled. The monuments were closed or were opened with big constraints before being completely closed. The French authorities recommended to not travel to this destination. During the period planned for our tripthe region went into confinement. The company refused all forms of refund even given the situation. Especially considering that we didn't come, it saved them electricity, water, cleaning and was better for their safety too. The worst thing is that they even certified that we could come without risk ("the news are making the situation bigger than what it really is"). When we can come to Venice again, we will avoid this company.

Communications throughout were very good. Check in (about 15 minutes away from the accommodation) was quick and easy and directions given were brilliant. Location is ideal and on the outlook is a fairly decent apartment. The only gripes we had were that there was no safety bar on the top bunk; we used the sofa bed in the living room instead of the bunks as a result. This may be a continental thing but we didn't feel safe letting our son sleep on the top. Whilst clean, we felt it could do with a litle bit of maintenance and the floor definitely needed a proper hoover and mop. The main bedroom walls could do with a lick of paint and a new bed. We felt this room was quite small and actually let our boys share in there while we had the sofa bed. There are a couple of lights missing their shade and the ceiling window in the living area definitely let a couple of drips of water in. With regards to the kitchen it is pretty well equipped, we feel that it would have been nicer had there been things like salt, sugar and pepper available and some larger cups and glasses; otherwise there is a nice large fridge with a small freezer compartment, pots, pans and crockery etc. The television sockets in the living area need tidying up, as does the back splash around the cooker and bathroom sink. Overall not too bad and nothing we felt strong enough to complain about but we wouldn't stay there again which is a shame when the customer service was excellent.

Perfetto!

La casa è curata , nuova e pulita, ben fornita di tutto il necessario ( biancheria , saponi , ecc ). 5 minuti scarsi a piedi dalla fermata del vaporetto. Zona centrale , molto gradevole , piena di locali e negozi, è vicinissima al casinò (3 minuti a piedi ) . La consegna delle chiavi avviene in un’agenzia distante circa 30 minuti a piedi dalla casa , 2/3 fermate di vaporetto. Però ha il vantaggio che è un agenzia che può fornire altri servizi, noi abbiamo comprato ad esempio i biglietti del vaporetto, le impiegate sono gentilissime e danno informazioni dettagliate e precise in primis su come raggiungere la casa con tanto di mappe e foto dettagliate, ma anche su altre cose. C’è però il vantaggio che la casa si apre con un codice e non con le chiavi quindi quando si lascia la casa non c è bisogno di lasciare le chiavi da nessuna parte. La camera matrimoniale ha un letto grande e comodo , poi c è il divano letto in cucina / sala pranzo che non abbiamo provato perché eravamo in 3. Infine c è una cameretta piccola con 2 letti a castello. Non abbiamo provato il superiore , ma quello sotto era ok. In ogni stanza c è un armadio. La consiglio.

The apartment was clean and modern with a minimalist vibe to it, kitchen and toilet were well-equipped and while it was a slightly cramped space, it was overall pleasant and comfortable. The location is within walking distance to some fantastic dining options but do note that S.Lucia train station is an approximately 20minute walk away - including climbing up and down 3-4 bridges with your luggage.

Pleasant stay

Check in and check out was very easy. Eleonora from Pleuwy Venice reception made it all so easy, speaks english and was very professional. Details on how to get to the apartment was easy to follow and very detailed. It was easy to get there. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Wifi was good. Kitchette is equipped with plates, cups, pots and pans. We didn't use much as we did not cook while we were there. The heaters were working well. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

When I booked this place, I payed extra to include breakfast. The first morning I reached out to ask where to get breakfast, they told me there was no breakfast included. We reserved the stay for 5 people, they left us less then 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 nights. Just the inconvenience alone was absurd. I had to go out and find where to buy toilet paper in the middle of the night. The air conditioning did not work, we called to get it fixed, they came out and fixed it the first day, then it stopped working the next day.

The beds were clean, but you could tell the floors had not been cleaned as there was dust and dirt everywhere. The beds were hard. The check in process was easy, as we arrived later then 11 pm, they were able to check us in over the phone.
